We've talked a lot about Hereford so far, but Fleetwood have a remarkable story of their own to tell.

The Lancashire club have risen through the divisions over the past decade and are established as a League One side.

Chairman Andy Pilley told Football Focus: "I'm the eternal optimist and I've been told when we've been going through the leagues that we couldn't go any further, but I truly believe the club can go further.

"I think we can make the Championship and we're going to work hard to do so."

MK Dons v Maidstone United (15:00 GMT)

National League side Maidstone caused one of the shocks of the first round, winning 4-2 away at League Two club Cheltenham.

Manager Jay Saunders told Football Focus: "I'm a local lad and my ambition is to get the club back in the Football League, but our minds are firmly focused on MK Dons and getting into that third round."

And should they get through, who would Saunders like to face in round three?

"As an Arsenal supporter, that would be the dream come true for me."

Imagine you're a Carlisle United fan. Inconsistent form in League Two this season but at least there's the magic of the FA Cup, eh?

A well-earned 3-2 win at home against Oldham Athletic put their name into the hat for the second-round draw, but there's a bit of a problem. They drew Gillingham.

That's nearly a 700-mile round trip from Carlisle. Big kudos if you're a Carlisle fan who got up early to make the trip down south. We were in work at 10:00 GMT so we know exactly how you feel...

What a game to start the day in the FA Cup! League Two side Notts County scrape into round three with a narrow, last-gasp win over sixth-tier Oxford City, who did themselves proud at Meadow Lane.

So now our attention turns to the eight 15:00 GMT kick-offs.

    • Bradford City v Plymouth Argyle
    • Fleetwood v Hereford FC
    • Forest Green v Exeter City
    • Gillingham v Carlisle United
    • MK Dons v Maidstone United
    • Port Vale v Yeovil Town
    • Shrewsbury Town v Morecambe
    • Stevenage v Swindon Town

All of the teams in action today are only five wins from playing at Wembley - or just the one if they draw Tottenham away on Monday...

  12. A 'massive' winpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

FT: Notts County 3-2 Oxford City

Notts County match-winner Jorge Grant told BT Sport:

"It was a massive win for us. They came and gave it a good go. It was lucky we got the goal to stop the replay.

"They played really good football and they were really at it. They were always going to give it 100% but we had to match that.

"Hopefully we'll get a good team in the next round. It's massive that we're doing well in the league but it's nice to have a good cup run to go with it."

  13. FULL-TIME: Notts County 3-2 Oxford Citypublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    And that's it.

Notts County have snatched it in the fifth minute of added time. Oxford City's players collapse to the floor - they can't quite believe that they haven't held on for a draw.

    Reaction on the way shortly.

    Jorge Grant

    HEARTBREAK AT MEADOW LANE.

Just seconds remain of this game and it's a fantastic ball into the box from Notts County, Jonathan Forte's header is saved and Jorge Grant is on hand to tap in at the far post.

    Incredible late drama.

    Notts County 2-2 Oxford City

This could have been all wrapped up for the hosts in the closing stages but Jonathan Forte nods high and wide.

Frustrating for Notts County but near elation for Oxford City.

  16. Postpublished at 90+1 mins

    Notts County 2-2 Oxford City

I'm stunned that Notts County aren't 3-2 up at the very least, here.

A tremendous ball into the box goes rolling free and Terry Hawkridge whips it across goal and there are no Oxford City defenders around to stop it but no Notts County players either.

The visitors clear again, but for how long? Notts are throwing everything at them now.

  17. Postpublished at 87 mins

    Notts County 2-2 Oxford City

Yet another Notts County attack but this time the referee blows for a foul from Jon Stead and that attack is nullified.

    Good news for Oxford City.

  18. Postpublished at 86 mins

    Notts County 2-2 Oxford City

Notts County defender Carl Dickinson sends a free-kick into the box which comes to nothing, courtesy of some miscommunication by the hosts' attack.

The home fans are not happy with that.

Oxford City are four minutes plus stoppage time away from a lucrative replay and a spot in Monday's third-round draw.

  19. Postpublished at 79 mins

    Notts County 2-2 Oxford City

Another shot from the hosts! This time Jorge Grant volleys towards goal but Oxford City keeper Jack Stevens palms it away from danger.

  20. Postpublished at 77 mins

    Notts County 2-2 Oxford City

There are shouts for a penalty for Oxford City - rightly waved away by the referee - before Notts County race up the other end and Elliott Hewitt unleashes a shot from long range which is blocked.

This game has gone from uneventful to quite entertaining!
