    HT: Millwall 0-0 QPR

    Sam Parkin
Former Luton Town forward on BBC Radio London

Millwall have certainly had the better of the chances, with Jed Wallace's the best of them following a lovely move.

I can see what Ian Holloway has gone for with pace, but youngster Bright Osayi-Samuel has lacked that composure in the final third.

I think Millwall have built their attacks better and kept the ball forward for periods. QPR have been unable to sustain their attacks.

It's very finely balanced and we hope for a better second half.

  11. Elsewhere in the EFLpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2017

Away from the Championship, there are three other EFL matches taking place tonight.

League One leaders Wigan are currently being held by play-off hopefuls Charlton, while Doncaster have opened up a 2-0 lead at home to Rochdale.

In the fourth tier, Yeovil scored twice in the opening 17 minutes to take control of their match at Morecambe.

Bristol City v Wolves (Saturday, 17:30 GMT)

Speaking of Bristol City, they're set to be involved in one of the games of the English Football League season so far when they host Wolves tomorrow.

The Robins are the division's form side with five wins in their past six matches, while Wolves have been superb from the get-go, opening an eight-point gap up on the chasing pack.

City head coach Lee Johnson said his side "need to do a job for the league" when they play the runaway leaders at Ashton Gate - and you can read more from both gaffers by clicking the link.

Bonmahon Beach: Millwall's Wembley win in the play off final. Beating 3 premier league teams in the FA Cup.

Phillippa: My @bcfctweets, external moment of 2017 apart from beating Man Utd in the cup is all the goal Gifs that the lads have created for the season so far (can't wait to see what they come up with next) & the way they've played this season, sitting in the play-offs with only 3 loses!

In the play-offs as things stand, Phillippa, but a Preston goal would change that...

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2017

    Millwall 0-0 QPR

No stoppage time at The Den, where Millwall and QPR go in level.

There have been chances for both sides, but Millwall have definitely had the better of it, with Aiden O'Brien, George Saville, Lee Gregory and Jed Wallace having chances.

QPR have tested Jordan Archer through Idrissa Sylla and Jake Bidwell, but the quality in the final third has been lacking.

... But, on the counter, Cardiff almost have a big chance as Lee Tomlin is played in, but he hasn't got the pace to race clear and he's forced to shoot from the edge of the box and it's saved.

From the corner, the ball falls to Joe Ralls and he bounces a volley just wide.

Paul Gallagher takes the free-kick. It hits the wall and then, on the rebound, appears to strike the arm of Cardiff's Lee Peltier.

The referee says no. It can't have been deliberate.

From the resulting corner, Preston's Jordan Hugill has a big chance, but he pokes over, swivelling in the air in the six-yard box.

Cardiff breathe a sigh of relief.
