It's been a scrappy last 10 minutes. We've not really seen either goalkeeper forced into action.

Both sides have looked dangerous in their own way - Millwall from set-pieces, getting balls into the box, and QPR on the break - but there have been no shots on target yet.

Preston win a free-kick in a very dangerous position, a few yards outside the penalty area, but Paul Gallagher drills it straight at the Cardiff wall.

The Bluebirds' Lee Peltier, meanwhile, is booked for his foul on Ben Pearson.

What I like most about that is the prospect of GOALS.

The ball's spending a lot of time in the air so far. Thankfully, we've still got nearly 80 minutes for that to change.

Cardiff throw plenty of men forward for a free-kick, taken from the right by the returning Lee Tomlin, but Preston head it away and the ball is eventually gathered by keeper Chris Maxwell.

A packed Den is creating a raucous atmosphere, with Ian Holloway's return only adding to the noise in south-east London.
