So would any Wigan fan actually give up winning the FA Cup, their only trophy, in exchange for not being relegated? No they wouldn't, and if they would they are not fans. Trophies not money, that is what football is about.

The Palace players surround the officials, they are certain that Glenn Murray handballed that winning goal.

I think I see Andre Marriner say 'I'll prove it to you' to Yohan Cabaye. Wayne Hennessey is subtly whacking his lower arm in front of the ref.

How has no one got on the end of the ball? That's incredible, no cutting edge there from a Palace perspective. It should be two-all.

The last 15 minutes of this game have been full of action. How has that stayed out?!

Timothy Fosu-Mensah fires a ball across goal, it evades everyone, Bakary Sako arrives beyond the far post and smashes it back across, again it misses everyone!

    Just needed a touch.

Peenot: Wait why no VAR there for what could of been a handball??

Nick UTA: Maybe the best advert for VAR is that it was introduced and wasn't even needed.

Sean: Surprise! What will be the talking point of the game tonight? The referee! Well, in this case the VAR it’s becoming silly. Hand ball?!!!

I think the referee went to VAR to see if it was offside or not. I think he might have just questioned it there. It's brushed past Glenn Murray and you're looking on the replay and thinking did it hit his arm?

It's in off his knee, not his arm. The last touch is off his knee.

There was no VAR check for handball that we are aware of, but there could have been communication between the officials of course. We just don't know.

It was a legal goal though.

    A late goal! Called it!

Does Glenn Murray get a touch?! Just about.

Uwe Hunemeier loops a header in on goal, it's going in but Murray gets a tiny touch on it with his knee and in.

Palace want handball - that's knee only.

    Great strike by Bakary Sako.

Do we have time for a winner?

Another injury? Timothy Fosu-Mensah has a knee in the back and goes down in a heap. Palace are losing men like flies. He'll carry on though.

    Where's that late winner?

That's fantastic play by Kayal, not only does he ride two challenges, he plays a wonderful ball to Baldock. He takes a touch, keeps that yard ahead. It's on his weaker foot, he rushes it and clips it over.

Michael Standing: I get that clubs want to protect league status but maybe the FA need to impose the "strongest team" rule on the FA Cup before it becomes a real second class competition.

Rob Lang: No Palace fan wants Murray on. Him scoring last minute has FA Cup written all over it!

Thomas Hollern: This game needs a winning goal, it wouldn't be fair to ask the fans to have to go through another 90 minutes of this.

  16. CLOSE!published at 83 mins

    Chance! Ahhh!

Brilliant play from Beram Kayal, who skips away from a Palace shirt in midfield and feeds a lovely pass into the run of Sam Baldock.

His first touch is exemplary, it takes him away from the last defender and across him, he's in on goal but on his left foot and he can only clip a shot over the bar!

    Big chance.

No player has scored more goals in all competitions for Crystal Palace this season than Bakary Sako.

It is Sako's first ever goal in the FA Cup in what is his seventh appearance in the competition.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say we'll get a winner. The rug has been pulled from this game and neither side looks interested in a draw. Tomer Hemed has a shot saved, Glenn Murray is warming up...
