  1. Watford lacking confidencepublished at 15:59 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

    Watford 0-2 Southampton

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

Watford's downturn in form clearly coincides with Everton's interest in Marco Silva. They're recent form has been awful, they're lacking confidence going forward, whereas earlier in the season they looked like opening up teams, and they're struggling in defence too.

    Watford 0-2 Southampton

Looking around today's games so far, no one has had fewer touches of the ball than Andre Gray - Watford's front man.

Just 13 touches in all, they will need to see more from him to get back into this one.

Remember Southampton are trying to avoid going 10 games without a win in the league. The last time they were winless for such a period in the top tier was in 2004-2005.

    They've done the business.

From 13th down to 18th is separated by just three points. Incredibly tight down there.

Southampton are the big movers at the moment, their 2-0 lead at Watford means they are up to 13th as things stand.

  4. 'Lacklustre Chelsea attack'published at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's an incredibly open game, Chelsea were much better in the last 15 minutes or so but they still look susceptible on the counter attack.

It was a really poor start from Chelsea and they're perhaps lucky not to be one or two goals down. They look lacklustre going forward and it's really all because they've just got one person up front, rather than the three they had last season, which is all because Nemanja Matic is no longer there to offer balance.

Leicester have been able to play a very high line, so whenever they win the ball back it makes it very easy for them to launch attacks.

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

There's not a lot in it but it's perhaps surprising to see Leicester (right) holding average positions which are higher up the field than their hosts in that first half.

Wilfred Ndidi (25) has been very good for the Foxes, playing 39 passes - a game high. He's also finding feet well, completing 89%.

Leicester have had 12 shots to Chelsea's five.

Yousuf: Antonio Conte's already set his mind on leaving. His mystifying team selections is all you need to look at.

Jos: Chelsea looking like a pretty poor attacking team. Slow and ponderous.

Naveed: Leicester have absolutely peppered Chelsea in this first half. I can so see Eden Hazard running past three defenders in the 90th min and winning this though. Tiemoue Bakayoko is awful. I think I can pass the ball better and I’m deadly serious.

    Deadly serious...

GOAL - Watford 0-2 Southamptonpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2018

    James Ward-Prowse

Southampton's struggles in front of goal are well documented, so where does this ruthless finish come from?

Shane Long with the legs, racing down the left and beating his man. He passes to Dusan Tadic who has just one man between him and the keeper in the area but elects to take the defender out of the picture with a pass to James Ward-Prowse, who passes home first time.

    That was slick.

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

It's a brilliantly worked goal - Huddersfield have opened West Ham up with some lovely quick passing - and once it's come to Joe Lolley it's a great finish. But I think West Ham let him shoot - they didn't think he had it in his locker - so fair play to him because it's a great strike.

"Kasper Schmeichel was alert," says Match of the Day commentator John Motson.

He had to be to tip over from Cesc Fabregas. The Spaniard had a dig from 20 yards.

Plenty happening here but somehow we await a goal.

    Newcastle 0-0 Swansea

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

Swansea suffered from a bad offside call the other week against Spurs when Fernando Llorente scored against them, but on this occasion the official has got it right and it's disallowed. The lineswoman did very well because Dwight Gayle is definitely offside.

    Huddersfield 0-1 West Ham

Groans of frustration at the John Smith's Stadium as Huddersfield struggle to mount a response to West Ham's opener. The closest they've come to an equaliser was a Christopher Schindler header from a corner, but it went well wide.
