    Huddersfield Town 0-1 Liverpool

Roberto Firmino gets on the end of James Milner's prod through and unleashes a strike at goal. Jonas Lossl parries the effort, but it wouldn't have counted as the front man was well offside.

John Artro Morris: Joe Gomez looks like he's done more talking and organising from right back than either of the two centre backs for Liverpool tonight.

Femi John Atoyebi: Swansea should be ahead. Arsenal midfield is as open as the sky.

The free-kick was just outside the penalty area, Chris Lowe whips it around the wall. Loris Karius is a worried onlooker but, much to his relief, the ball zips past the post. The Reds still lead thanks to Emre Can's 25-yard effort.

Liverpool are passing it around so slow they are so much control, and even though they are 1-0 up away from home, they don't need to go in search of a second goal.

Even as an optimistic Arsenal fan, I struggle to see where Cech will get his 200th clean sheet with this defence.

    Jack, Devon

We concede at will. When will Arsenal learn? Money invested in the wrong areas!

    Ajay the Gooner

Without exaggerating I think I can count on two hands the number of times when Xhaka has switched off in the build up to an opposition goal. He's a liability, and yet Wenger persists on picking him - I don't get it?

Andros Townsend made the Palace goal, and nearly gets on the scoresheet himself. He cuts inside on to his left foot and his curling shot is pushed wide by a diving Adrian before James McArthur nods wide when he should have done better.

Mike Gara: Strong bench for Arsenal. Pity the starting 11 looks pants.

Miracle Roch: Xhaka always absent minded. How is he a pro?

Joe: So question, with VAR, does that Swansea goal get disallowed for the shirt pull on Ozil?

    Please, Joe, don't start...

Yet more chances at the Liberty Stadium. This one falls to Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny but the centre-half can't get any power on his header and nods it off target.
