United are struggling to settle. We're at the 10-minure mark and I can't think of too many spells of possession they've had in the opposition's half. The pitch is cutting up too so there are positive signs for Yeovil so far.

What an excellent start by the League Two strugglers. Can they nick a lead?

That was brilliant from Yeovil. From the back with Sowunmi's challenge on Rashford and then the forward runs. But Green took a swing at it.

Yeovil have always been more of a 'footballing' side in the lower leagues, not blood and thunder long ball merchants, and they're playing some neat stuff now. Working triangles in midfield before Tom James dashes in a cracking early cross which evades a team-mate or two. Good play!

United's formation is an interesting one, with the three in midfield. If you had Pogba in that equation, you'd get the best out of him. Seeing Sanchez on the left makes me think Mourinho is maybe looking to play him there long term.

There's an early chance at Hillsborough for Reading as Dave Edwards is denied from close range by Wednesday goalkeeper Cameron Dawson.

Chance for the hosts! They work it nicely, Jordan Green is played into the area and hits it cleanly enough on his left foot but it's always straight at Sergio Romero, who saves with his feet.

Good play by Yeovil though.

Yeovil could have done with roughing up the pitch a bit, it's too easy for United to stroke the ball around in their own half at the moment.
