    Yeovil 0-1 Man Utd

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

Alexis Sanchez has given the ball away umpteen times, but he just shrugs it off. That is the sign of a great player - they have amnesia about their mistakes, keep demanding the ball and produce a moment of magic.

  4. Postpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2018

That goal has rather deflated the Huish Park balloon at the moment. Get to half time and reassess?

    Yeovil 0-1 Man Utd

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on 5 Live

From United's point of view, it was brilliant by Rashford. The opportunity looked like it had gone but he stays swicthed on and gets there before Sowunmi and Smith. It was like 'after you, after you'. They just needn't to get the ball out of there and talk about it afterwards. It was really clever by Rashford though. He kind of came out of the situation and then nipped back in there

    Yeovil 0-1 Man Utd

    Tom Garry
    BBC Sport at Huish Park

That's 10 goals for the season in all competitions for Marcus Rashford and it's dampened the home fans' spirits somewhat, relatively close to half-time.

  7. Postpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2018

    Yeovil 0-1 Man Utd

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

That is such a shame for Yeovil. There is so much indecision at the back. Tom James just needs to swing a big boot at the ball and get it clear. Premier League players will punish that sort of hesitation.

  8. goal

GOAL - Yeovil 0-1 Man Utdpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2018

    Marcus Rashford (41 mins)

One of you, one of you, ONE OF YOU....!!

Oh no! An inquest is immediately launched in the Yeovil defence as they concede a real sickener. Marcus Rashford dribbles into the box but there are four men in green and white around him and the chance has gone.

But Tom James and Nathan Smith leave it to each other as they try and shepherd it back to Artur Krysiak, hesitation is costly and Rashford reacts to nip in and poke home from about six yards out.

    Opportune striking, dreadful defending...

    Yeovil 0-0 Man Utd

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on 5 Live

United have been forced to defend, Rojo in particular, with plenty of balls going into their box. Yeovil are doing it right. They're picking the right time to go forward, but I'd like to see them believe in themselves a little bit more

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2018

    Yeovil 0-0 Man Utd

There's that chant again, questioning Ed Woodward's financial prudence, as Alexis Sanchez shoots wide from the edge of the area.

His first touch was superb, controlled a savage ball.

There is no doubt that Alexis Sanchez's move only makes Manchester United stronger and Arsenal weaker. That is true, despite my reservations over his motivations.

But call me old-fashioned but I would want to play for the best team. Aren't Manchester City the best team?

Alexis Sanchez has been really busy in the past five minutes or so. He's calling for the ball at every opportunity and cutting inside a lot.

  19. Postpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2018

    Yeovil 0-0 Man Utd

Ander Herrera lumps a shot over the bar after a lengthy spell of play ends with a half-cleared cross. Tough ball to hit that.

Alexis Sanchez, super busy if not perfect in possession so far, takes a ball down nicely on the left but is cross is away from Marcus Rashford.

It was a shocking challenge by Smith. I don't think he made any attempt to play the ball. I don't understand why you would do that, when your team is playing as well as it is. You've got to keep a clear head at the same time
