It sounds like this penalty shoot out is going old school, so alternate kicks and not ABBA.

Willian is stepping up to take the first spot kick.

  6. 'Morata dived'published at 22:37 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2018

    Chelsea 1-1 Norwich

    Alan Shearer
    Former Newcastle striker on MOTD

Alvaro Morata's is a dive, it's a dive there isn't enough contact there to send him to ground.

Will: Great game for a non-Chelsea fan!

Simon: Don't want to tempt fate, but I do enjoy a midweek penalty shootout!

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 22:33 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2018

Willy Caballero holds onto Timm Klose's header.

  13. Postpublished at 120 mins

Now Norwich have a free kick just outside the Chelsea area.

    They couldn't, could they...?

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 22:32 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2018

    Chelsea 1-1 Norwich

Late change for Norwich as Marco Stiepermann comes on. A penalty specialist? Or a bit of height for the final minute or two.

    Stiepermann replaces Todd Cantwell.

  15. 'I don't envy the referee'published at 22:31 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2018

    Chelsea 1-1 Norwich

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC One

It's another incident that I've seen given in the past - but for me Alvaro Morata goes down very easily there. It's a tough one though, because there is contact, so he's within his rights to go down. I don't envy the referee.

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It was a dive. He's booked Morata after he went down far too easily. A really poor dive, he went past Zimmerman. We talk about VAR but we have to cut out diving.

That was a good decision, well done Graham Scott

Morata is sent offImage source, Reuters

Now Alvaro Morata is sent off!

    What drama!

Morata was booked first for being deemed to have dived before getting a quick second yellow for protesting the decision.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 22:30 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2018

Alvaro Morata goes down inside the penalty area under a challenge... penalty? The referee blows his whistle but again favours Norwich!

That is a poor tackle from Pedro.

When you get booked for diving in the second half you are putting yourself under pressure.
