Alvaro Morata again. How many times have we seen him get better contact than that earlier in the season? It's another missed opportunity, and again, Angus Gunn looks solid.

Oh that should be meat and drink for Alvaro Morata!

Great cross, head height, Alvaro Morata is largely unchallenged but he nods a tame header down at Angus Gunn.

Andrew Neill: Re: Andy Baxter - All the neutrals want penalties in 10 minutes time. Chelsea fans wanted just the one 20 minutes ago...

I'm confused. I am not a fan. I like the English game as it is, with talking points.

Referees get decisions right and get some wrong. That is football.

If it wasn't for VAR tonight, we'd be talking about it maybe being a penalty.

Now we'll be talking about if for the next two days because of VAR.

  9. Postpublished at 112 mins

    Chelsea 1-1 Norwich

Quick break by Josh Murphy, who somehow still has the energy to charge up the pitch, he whips the ball in and Todd Cantwell pokes it away from a Chelsea defender, but can't get to the loose ball before Willy Caballero.

Chris Mertens: All this complaining about VAR - look at cricket: “umpires call”. Surely that Willian “pen” falls under that bracket.. probably is a penalty, but not given on field so go with the ref. Here to support officials not overrule every marginal call

  11. Postpublished at 109 mins

    Chelsea 1-1 Norwich

Shouts for handball as Timm Klose blocks a shot and the ball hits his arm. Chelsea players call for a penalty, but he couldn't put his arm anywhere else.

Referee says no penalty and that looks to be the correct decision.

It's been a brilliant first 15 minutes of extra time. It's been end-to-end stuff.

Chelsea had those two good chances and Norwich are still probing.

  18. 'Shocking decision'published at 22:14 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2018

    Chelsea 1-1 Norwich

    Alan Shearer
    Former Newcastle striker on MOTD

We all think that's an obvious penalty here, and he's booked him for diving? Who an earth is looking at that screen at Stockley Park? What a shocking decision that is. Shambles.

  19. 'Shambles'published at 22:14 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2018

    Chelsea 1-1 Norwich

The pundits in the Match of the Day studio are all in agreement that Chelsea should have had a penalty.

  20. What a talent Gunn ispublished at 22:13 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2018

    Chelsea 1-1 Norwich

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC One

What a two minute display that is from Angus Gunn. They are two very good saves. You know your goalkeeper has to have a good game if you're going to get anything at Stamford Bridge and Gunn is certainly having one - what a talented keeper he is.
