The visitors have started very well.

James Tarkowski meets a free-kick played deep into the box, he was trying to head it across goal for one of his Burnley team-mates to finish it off, but he gets too much power on the header and it goes harmlessly out of play.

I think there will be two contrasting styles of play today. Burnley will look to play quite directly, hitting Ashley Barnes early and hoping he will be able to bully Phil Jones and Chris Smalling. Then, from his knock-downs, the likes of Cork and Defour will try to pick up the pieces.

United will look to play their way downfield through Mata, Lingard and Pogba getting Martial up to support Romelu Lukaku. They've started brightly - it should be an interesting game.

An early chance for the hosts. Shinji Okazaki releases Jamie Vardy whose low, powerful strike is parried by Orestis Karnezis.

The rebound falls to Okazaki but he makes a mess of the follow-up header.

First chance for the Arsenal comes after Mesut Ozil found space on the left, he rolls it back to Alex Iwobi who clips in a shot from the edge of the box and it's tipped over.

Lovely football from Manchester United at Turf Moor as the visitors instantly go on the attack. The ball falls to Juan Mata on the right and he gets too much on his lofted pass into the box, aiming for Jesse Lingard at the back post and the chance is wasted.

Great defending! Arsenal man Shkodran Mustafi has to stretch to make a diving headed clearance or Wilfried Zaha would have had a tap-in! He cleared brilliantly.

It's not the best attended game the Emirates has ever seen...

Stoke's whole problem is they're leaking so many goals, it's a cliche but they must go back to basics and stop conceding so often.

The Stoke fans will be thinking, as with West Ham fans reacting to David Moyes' appointment for example, 'okay, this might not be our first choice manager, but let's just see how this goes'.

Ryan Shawcross is back in the Stoke side and he makes an immediate impression, heading away an early cross from Scott Malone.

Stoke have the worst defence in any of Europe's big five leagues. Job one for Paul Lambert.
