    Everton 0-0 West Brom

    Steve Crossman
    BBC Sport at Goodison Park

After the minute's applause for Cyrille Regis at Goodison Park, nine minutes into the game, the West Brom fans will hold up a banner for the rest of the game and sing; "There's only one Cyrille Regis.'

He was an absolute legend as part of a legendary West Bromwich Albion team. How many players define the changing of attitudes? Regis achieved that and will be remembered as a great hero.

Arsenal v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

I wouldn't say the weather was grim at the Emirates but every player is doing more jumping up and down than usual as the teams emerge. Also the cameras pick out a woman wearing what can only be described as a yellow binbag over her coat, and she's got a huge umbrella up too.

    WET.

  9. How they standpublished at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

This is how things stand in the Premier League after Chelsea's 4-0 win at Brighton, with Manchester United in action at 3pm, before Manchester City take on Newcastle in the late game.

And this is how they sit at the bottom. Stoke will lift themselves out of the bottom three with a win against Huddersfield.

  10. 'Expect goals'published at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

West Ham v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

    John Southall
BBC Radio 5 live football reporter

Clashes between these sides have produced 23 goals over the last five meetings. Both teams have a spring in their step from their victories last weekend and we're hoping for something like that ridiculous 3-3 game these sides shared on Boxing Day.

  11. 'Arsenal players must step up'published at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

Arsenal v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on Final Score

Sometimes when you have such an influential player leaving it says to the others that you must step up and the responsibility becomes shared, it becomes a team responsibility. I think Arsenal, I'm not saying will benefit, but the other players will have to step up.

  12. Not many better left-backs...published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

    Burnley v Man Utd (15:00GMT)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Turf Moor

Yesterday, in addition to saying not much about Alexis Sanchez and his own contract situation, Jose Mourinho spoke warmly about Luke Shaw's performances over the past few weeks.

He finished off his glowing report by saying there are "not many left-backs better than THIS Luke Shaw."

Except it appears Mourinho has one in his squad. Ashley Young fills that role today. Shaw is on the bench.

  13. 'Burnley are a fantastic example'published at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

Burnley v Man Utd (15:00 GMT)

    Simon Grayson
Ex-Sunderland manager on BBC Radio 5 live

You never know where you are with Jose Mourinho. To say all these things about Luke Shaw and then put him on the bench…it’s just how he works.

As for Burnley, you have to give them huge credit for where they are in the table. Every team goes through sticky patches but the bigger picture is their position. They’re a fantastic example of how to run a football club successfully.

If the off air chat is anything to go this afternoon should be fun! My belly aches from laughing!!

Ian Dennis and Simon Grayson are behind the commentary mics for Burnley v Manchester United at Turf Moor.

Denno’s got the biggest coat ever and had problems with his zip.

He couldn’t fasten it aka Wenger style, and because of the size of it we’re now tightly squeezed in on the bank of desks we’ve been allocated right at the back of main stand.

  16. Just like watching Brazilpublished at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

Arsenal v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

Palace's only away league victory over Arsenal came on 1 October 1994, when two goals from John Salako - pictured here - helped Alan Smith's side to a 2-1 win. Arsenal were 14th in the table after that, Palace two places below. The Gunners ended that campaign in 12th, while the Eagles were relegated.

But what a great away kit!

Arsenal v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

The Arsenal team are out to warm up under grey skies and relentless rainfall in North London, Jack Wilshere’s even decided it’s chilly enough for a beanie hat.

Arsene Wenger is reverting to a back four today with Hector Bellerin dropping back to right-back and after the way they folded at the end of the Bournemouth game last weekend that does give them a more solid look with Laurent Koscielny returning at centre-back and Nacho Monreal at left-back.

Mesut Ozil’s return clearly offers them a greater attacking threat but Crystal Palace are a tough nut to crack now under Roy Hodgson and they are looking for an historic away win here - Palace have only ever won one league game at Arsenal in their history in 17 attempts!

  19. Bright future for Arsenal?published at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2018

Arsenal v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on Football Focus

What hurts Arsenal the most about the Sanchez situation is selling one of their stars to a rival. But if they can bring Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan through the door, they may well appease their fans and even start adapting their style. It’s a big if though.

Lots of unsubstantiated rumours about Alexis Sanchez.

So far today I have been told Sanchez is having a medical, that the deals for the Chilean to join Manchester United and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to join Arsenal are done, that Sanchez has flown to Manchester and that nothing has changed from yesterday.

It is going to happen. I think I speak for most reporters covering this story when I say I wish they would hurry up.
