When Manchester City go 1-0 up, at times we expect a lot more; they should be leading comfortably.

We’ve got to give Claude Puel credit, when Leicester went a goal down they changed to system to get more support to Jamie Vardy and match City in midfield.

However this game turns out, Manchester City won't be getting a clean sheet today.

It's amazing given their status as runaway Premier League leaders but Pep Guardiola's side have now kept clean sheets in only six of their last 18 games.

Over the same period Crystal Palace have five.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has touched the ball just five times in this match so far, the fewest of any outfield player.

But how important a contribution could the one be that he took inside the Manchester City box before finishing?

  13. Vardy on another scoring run...published at 18:00 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

    Man City 1-1 Leicester

    Chris Bevan

Not surprisingly, the away fans are suddenly making a lot of noise, while there are a few groans from the Manchester City fans around me whenever their side give the ball away with sloppy passes in the final third of the pitch - they know how dangerous this Leicester side is in the break.

By the way, Jamie Vardy is now on a run of four goals in four Premier League games - the last time he was on a scoring streak as good as that, he famously managed 11 in 11.

Nicolas Otamendi steps in front of Jamie Vardy to cut out Fousseni Diabate's pass and Manchester City work the ball forward to Bernardo Silva. He dances his way into the area before smashing something towards the far post - could be a shot or it could be a cross - but Kasper Schmeichel takes no chances, thumping it away.

Kyle Walker gives it away and Nicolas Otamendi dives in, but give Jamie Vardy a lot of credit. He still has a lot to do when he picks up that ball. But a poor goal to concede from Manchester City’s point of view.

    Where did that come from?

Leicester have offered almost nothing in attack but suddenly have an equaliser. Jamie Vardy works himself some space to shoot on the edge of the area and the tiniest of deflections help the ball to beat Ederson in the Manchester City goal.

    All square.
