Yes, I know a photo of the team sheet is not exactly box office but there are a couple of things worth looking out for today…

Firstly, for Leicester fans, Riyad Mahrez’s name is there - among the subs - meaning the Algerian could feature for the first time since 20 January, after missing the last two matches through his self-imposed exile following the break down of his move to today’s hosts.

You can see why Leicester are keen to have him back because their win percentage without him since the start of the 2015-16 title-winning season is only 20%, compared to 44% when he makes it on to the pitch.

And there is some good news for Manchester City fans - they have their full complement of substitutes today after only naming six in last week’s draw at Burnley. Brahim Diaz is listed as their seventh man on the bench, alongside fit-again John Stones and Phil Foden, who were unavailable at Turf Moor.

  2. 'Mahrez will be okay at Leicester'published at 16:53 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

In general, in the dressing room, I don't think there will be any problems with Riyad Mahrez at Leicester, unless there are any personal issues he has with other players. When the deal fell through, he should have just got his head down on the training pitch, and now he's finally doing that again, I think he'll be okay.

It's not extensive by any means but the Leicester fans I spoke to outside have said if Riyad Mahrez is still at the club, manager Claude Puel might as well use him.

Picking him on the bench seems a halfway house, not shoving him straight back in the team after his week-long absence from training, but not ignoring the Algerian completely either.

He could have been in the home dressing room today of course.

Manchester City make two changes from the side that drew with Burnley last-time out as Aymeric Laporte and Oleksandr Zinchenko come in for Danilo and Vincent Kompany.

The big team news as far as Leicester are concerned is that Riyad Mahrez - who missed out on a deadline day move to Manchester City - is on the bench.

The Foxes also make two changes as Ben Chilwell and Matty James start. Danny Simpson and Kelechi Iheanacho drop to the bench.

"Let's take a look at what you could have won"

For Riyad Mahrez, today's game will feel a bit like when losing Bullseye contestants get to see the Speedboat they missed out on.

If things had worked out how he'd have liked, the winger would have been lining up in Manchester City colours this evening.

Instead, he's watching on from the Leicester bench.

Will he get the chance to show Pep Guardiola what he's missing out on?
