  1. 'Everything I wish to see'published at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Liverpool 4-1 West Ham

    Liverpool

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: "When I woke up this morning I didn't expect a game like this, it was a joy to watch for everybody.

"It was intense, it was aggressive, it was angry, it was full of desire. I saw everything I wish to see in a game of football and it's not often you see that."

"We scored from a set-piece too. You only ever talk to me about set-pieces when we suffer from them so it's nice to score one too.

"Can we stay second? That depends on other results. We don't have to worry about that now."

  2. 'It was a high risk bet'published at 17:16 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton 4-1 Swansea

    Swansea City

Swansea City manager Carlos Carvalhal speaking to BBC MOTD:

"It was a game where we made some mistakes that usually we have not been making.

"The story is we tried to turn it around by putting more players into attack in the second half because we were losing and we wanted to win three points.

"We reacted well to their first goal. We took a player from midfield and put them up front, we knew that was a big risk. We’d either win the game or the opponent would score. We took those risks very early, in hindsight I’d have made the change with Tammy [Abraham] later. That’s football though, it was a high risk bet."

  3. 'A joy to watch'published at 17:16 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Liverpool 4-1 West Ham

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "I don't think as a manager you can expect a game like this, you can hope for it but it's very rare you get it. We got it. It was a joy to watch.

"The boys delivered, it makes me really happy. It helps us when we have time to train and prepare but we don't often have the time. I saw a lot of things today we did in training which makes me happy.

"It is not always like this, this is one of the best games we have played, 100%. Our counter pressing was outstanding. That always helps us a lot. We all know David Moyes organises his teams really well, they are back on track since he went there."

  4. 'A crucial nudge up the table'published at 17:15 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    FT: Bournemouth 2-2 Newcastle

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, speaking to BBC Sport: "We had been flat and Newcastle were dogged and made it difficult for us, but you have to complement the players for the last 10 minutes - that is what we wanted to be, we showed a lot of quality and character to come back.

"We started OK but conceded a poor goal and the second one wasn't pretty either. They were both self-inflicted really, and it is incredibly difficult to lift yourself up from there. The first one is harsh maybe, Asmir Begovic is an inch away from making a great save but for the second one, well goalkeepers are there to be shot at really, it cost us a goal but we back him because he's had an excellent season for us.

"We got the next goal - that was always going to be the crucial one. It's another point that nudges us towards where we want to be - every one could be vital at the end of the season."

  5. Postpublished at 17:11 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    West Brom 1-2 Huddersfield

No sign of Alan Pardew yet. A full-time telling off?

  6. "To move out of the mire is nice"published at 17:09 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton 4-1 Swansea

    Brighton & Hove Albion

    Brighton forward Glenn Murray:

"They got a goal back but thankfully we killed the game off. We felt as though if we kept possession we could create spaces in behind them and create chances to score.

"It was important we got the three points and moved up the table a little bit. It’s still in the balance and we can’t take our foot off the pedal. It's all the old clichés of course but to move out of the mire is nice.

"It was the perfect game for Jurgen Locadia to come on and put the game to bed for us."

  7. 'We are lucky boys'published at 17:07 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Liverpool 4-1 West Ham

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane: "Honestly we played very good from the beginning. We scored four goals and created so many chances. We pushed as a team.

"The front three are all lucky boys, the rest of the team give us assists and play well behind so we are lucky."

Midfielder Emre Can: "We did our job today, we could have scored a few more goals to be honest. It was my mistake which meant that we conceded a goal which is a shame.

"It is difficult to be top, Manchester City are too far away, but of course we want to finish second."

  8. 'We weren't who we wanted to be'published at 17:06 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    FT: Bournemouth 2-2 Newcastle

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "We have to be satisfied, it was a strange afternoon because for a long spell we weren't what we wanted to be. It looked like a long way back for us but we found something, we changed system and players with the subs and suddenly we looked like the team we wanted to be.

"We did struggle to create in the first half because Newcastle were very sound defensively but in the end we backed them up and they couldn't get out of their box, I thought we were going to win."

  9. 'It was a frustrating afternoon'published at 17:04 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Burnley 1-1 Southampton

    Burnley

    Burnley forward Ashley Barnes:

On the result: "I’m speechless. We fought hard today, and that outcome shouldn’t have happened, we should have won the game."

On the referee's role in the equaliser: "There’s a bit of anger with the referee, but what can you do? He’s done it now and hopefully something will happen, but we move on next game."

On their performance: "We were fantastic all day, fought hard for it, so there’s frustration all round. We had the better chances, I think we dominated, but it’s a frustrating afternoon."

On their winless run: "We believe in that changing room in the players we have that we can get back to winning ways."

  10. 'A massive win'published at 17:01 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    West Brom 1-2 Huddersfield

    Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield midfielder Alex Pritchard: "It was always going to be massive. We stuck in there. 0-0 was fair result of the first half. Second half was always going to be tough. We got the lead and went on from there. A big result. Keep fighting. We knew it was going to be massive game, for us and them.

"We can do it. We have shown we can do it. We have quality when we get the ball down and play."

  11. 'Disappointed not to win'published at 16:57 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    FT: Bournemouth 2-2 Newcastle

    Bournemouth

    Bournemouth midfielder Dan Gosling:

"We were a bit sloppy in the first half. We're disappointed not to have got the winner but we probably left it too late. The substitutes who came on, Lys Mousset and Jermain Defoe, credit to them. We have a big squad and we needed everyone. We have been in this position so many times now - we just know we can score."

On scoring against his old club:

"It was a nice feeling but I didn't think about it too much - it is just important to get something from the game."

Bournemouth's players head over to the fans beyond one goal and clap their hands sore in celebration. They had chances to win it - but this at least feels like a victory.

Max: Given how important set pieces are to West Brom, how can they afford to leave out Chris Brunt? They have only come into the game since he came on.

Anon: As a West Ham fan, I'm clearly am not happy. However hats off to Liverpool, I would rather watch entertaining teams than boring Man Utd.
