    Breaking

West Brom v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

    West Bromwich Albion

Jonny Evans will have learned his lesson after his Catalan cab antics - he's back as skipper of West Brom. Gareth Barry starts and the other two Barcelona bad boys are on the bench.

Huddersfield make two changes from the team beaten by Manchester United.

  2. Evra startspublished at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018
    Breaking

Liverpool v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

    West Ham United

Patrice Evra takes a break from filming himself larking about in phone boxes to make his West Ham debut at Anfield.

James Milner captains Liverpool as Jordan Henderson drops to the bench.

  3. Reaction to Barcelona?published at 13:58 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

West Brom v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender and BBC football expert

I think the situation the Baggies are in, plus what happened to some of their players who broke a curfew at their training camp in Barcelona last week, might bring a reaction from the team. They badly need it to.

    Prediction: 2-0

It's safe to say it has been a turbulent couple of weeks at West Brom on and off the pitch.

Alan Pardew has won just one of his 13 league matches in charge of the Baggies and if that record isn't improved upon this weekend he will come under increased pressure.

It mustn't be forgotten, however, that Huddersfield are still in trouble themselves. Prior to the 4-1 victory over Bournemouth they were winless in eight games, scoring just three goals along the way.

Their away form will give West Brom hope, with just the two wins on the road this season.

There's no escaping the fact that this is a hugely significant game in this season's relegation battle.

  6. 'If West Brom don't win, they're down'published at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

West Brom v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

    Owen Hargreaves
Former Bayern Munich midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

The fans weren't happy with Tony Pulis' style of football but I think they'd have stayed up with him in charge. They wanted a more expansive style of football but that hasn't worked out.

They've played better but they're not getting the points. Changing the philosophy mid-season is really dangerous.

If West Brom don't win, I think they're down. It's must-win. This game is everything.

  7. 'No defence until we win'published at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

West Brom v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom head coach Alan Pardew: "I think it's important we answer the question marks against us in terms of professionalism...we haven't really got a defence for all that until we win.

"We know at the end of the game on Saturday that if we haven't won then it will be a difficult week again for us, and we don't want another difficult week.

"No-one wants to play and work like this. We want to come in and work and smile and have a buzz about us and repay some of the faith our supporters have."

  8. Building on relief?published at 13:48 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

West Brom v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

    Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield have won just twice in 13 away matches in the Premier League this season.

But there was huge relief last time out as they beat Bournemouth 4-1 to end a run of eight games without a victory.

Question is, can they build on that in today's crucial fixture?

  9. West Brom's woeful runpublished at 13:46 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

West Brom v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom have won just three times in the 27 matches since the start of the season. And only once in their past 25.

Only two clubs have avoided relegation after winning as few as three of their first 27 Premier League games in a season: Fulham in 2007-08 and West Brom in 2004-05.

  10. Home banker?published at 13:44 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Liverpool v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender and BBC football expert

The Reds are unbeaten in the league at Anfield this season and we know how they attack teams in their home games.

We also know that Liverpool's front players are in excellent form and I don't see the West Ham defence coping with them.

    Prediction: 3-0

  11. Can Moyes break Anfield curse?published at 13:42 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Liverpool v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

    West Ham United

I'm not gonna lie, the pre-match stats simply do not favour West Ham.

David Moyes has never won a competitive game against Liverpool at Anfield - in 14 attempts. He's drawn seven and lost seven of his games there as a manager.

The Hammers may have kept their first clean sheet in nine league games when beating Watford 2-0 a few weeks ago, but they have not managed successive league victories for 13 months.

Former West Ham midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker, speaking on BBC Radio 5 live: "West ham have improved a lot since David Moyes came in.

"He has gone back to basics to make sure everyone works hard for the benefit of the team. West Ham is more than a football club – it’s a way of life. It’s a generation thing."

  13. 'West Ham have enough to stay up'published at 13:38 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Liverpool v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

    Terry Butcher
Ex-England captain on BBC Radio 5 live

West Ham are playing teams in the bottom half so they should have enough to stay up.

They've got Swansea, Southampton and Stoke still to play and the teams below them have all got to play each other.

  14. Remembering Bobbypublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Also today - it is the 25th anniversary of Bobby Moore's death - England's 1966 World Cup winning captain was 51 when he died of bowel cancer in 1993.

Click the link above and you can listen to a special radio documentary about Bobby, first broadcast in 2001.

He is also a legend at West Ham of course - the club where he spent the vast majority of his career. The Hammers are away at Liverpool this afternoon.

It says a lot about how tight the table is that even seventh-placed Burnley can't be sitting all that comfortably.

But when you get right down the bottom - down to Bournemouth, Newcastle, Brighton, Swansea, Southampton, West Ham, Huddersfield and especially West Brom, it gets very nervy indeed.

Here's the picture at the very bottom as it stands - with Stoke 1-0 up at Leicester.
