  1. CHANCE!published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle

Jonjo Shelvey is spraying balls from deep like Steven Gerrard in 2006. Bournemouth have been far too slow to close him down.

The home side now working a nice move down the left - Charlie Daniels crosses back in and Dan Gosling fires over the bar from the edge of the box, always rising.

    Liverpool 1-0 West Ham

A second Liverpool goal before half-time could well put this one to bed but West Ham have defended pretty well overall.

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    West Brom 0-0 Huddersfield

Best chance of the game! Florent Hadergjonaj cuts a ball back from the right, Alex Pritchard meets it well with a thumping strike but he can only hit the face of his own team-mate Steve Mounie and Town can't bundle in the loose ball.

    Huddersfield close to the opener.

Patrick: Lorus Karius improves by the month. I was dubious when he signed but he works well with the rest and Jurgen Klopp knows how to get the best from the team. Liverpool are on the up!

Dave: Could Man Utd be fourth in a two horse race by the end of the weekend.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton 1-0 Swansea

A tactical change this early in the game? Nathan Dyer didn't seem to be injured but he has come off - with striker Andre Ayew on to replace him...

  6. Postpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle

Rafael Benitez is up and animating his players from the sidelines. This has been a pretty impressive showing from the Magpies so far. They are up to 10th in the table as it stands - leapfrogging Bournemouth.

  7. Liverpool join 100 goals clubpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Thomas M: Always expected Mo Salah to be involved in the first goal, but Emre Can? And he almost drove in moments later.

We haven't had a shot on target yet. It's tense and edgy and not particularity good.

'Evra too small to mark Can'published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Ex-Aston Villa striker on Final Score

There are two reasons Emre Can scored that goal. The corner is brilliant and Patrice Evra is marking him. Evra is quite small. If you a professional footballer you should not miss that goal.

Liverpool will go on to score more now.

    Liverpool 1-0 West Ham

Emre Can now bends a shot wide from the edge of the area as Jurgen Klopp's side aim to push on.

Mo Salah then heads a good chance over. Liverpool second as it stands.

  12. Postpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Burnley 0-0 Southampton

Better signs from Burnley - they look to be growing into this as Southampton find themselves pegged back. Saints are sitting so deep that the go-to ball for the Clarets seems to be: pump it long.

  13. Postpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle

Nathan Ake strides out in the sun and finds Charlie Daniels down the left. Ryan Fraser is inside him, legs whirling. But Newcastle have dropped deep to soak up this little spell of Bournemouth pressure. They're still looking good for their lead, the away team.

And there it is, Liverpool's 100th goal of the season. A corner is whipped in by Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk misses it but behind him Emre Can gets away from Patrice Evra to head home from close range.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton 1-0 Swansea

Brilliant adjustment - feet, mind and hands - from Mat Ryan to zip across his line and stretch to point away a deflected shot from Mike van der Hoorn. It pinged off Shane Duffy and was set to find the net before the Aussie keeper's intervention.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

Andrew Robertson goes close to a fluke opener as his cross from deep on the left hangs up ans is going to drift in until Adrian tips it over.

Manny: If anyone else makes that save other than a Liverpool keeper, it's "World class". But low and behold, focus is only on the striker.

Luke: Credit where it’s due, Karius’ save against Arnautović was top class.

  18. Postpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Burnley 0-0 Southampton

There is a lot of stuff going sideways at Turf Moor - from both sides. Dusan Tadic's shot the only real dangerous moment to speak of so far.

This is a really, really low quality game so far. If I was a gambling man I'd be lumping on 0-0.
