  1. West Ham not here to park the buspublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

It has been exciting to watch, with both teams hitting the frame of the goal. The goalkeepers haven't had much to do other than that.

Liverpool have had most of the ball but West Ham have shown glimpses of attacking intent, particularly with Joao Mario, Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini behind them. They're not here just to park the bus, they want to attack and score.

More pressure from Liverpool but Sadio Mane is crowded out of space inside the penalty area. Where is the breakthrough coming from at Anfield?

How many English players have scored more than Glenn Murray's nine in the league this season? In this World Cup year?

Four - Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, Jamie Vardy and Wayne Rooney.

    Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle

Again Newcastle surge forward. Matt Ritchie is having a quality game here. Bournemouth again look rattled as they have to rally back behind the ball and Ryan Fraser manages to toe this latest danger clear.

The home side do well to work up the pitch and buy a corner but Junior Stanislas booms over the bar from the edge of the box.

That was a penalty all day long. I'm not usually a fan of putting them straight down the middle but Glenn Murray's scored.

Michael: Marko Arnautovic reminds me of Dimitar Berbatov, so lethargic but is quality through and through.

Ryan: How good has Andy Robertson been? Such a relief knowing that errors won't come (at least often) from the left-back position.

100% commitment as James Milner sprints on to a loose ball 20 yards out and goes for goal, Mark Noble is sliding in to block the shot and you can see what's going to happen - whack!

Milner connects with the bottom of Noble's boot and my eyes are stinging from up here.

The Liverpool skipper needs some treatment but he's going to carry on.

    Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle

All Newcastle! Matt Ritchie bends a shot from range just wide off the post as he locks onto the rebound from an Ayoze Perez drive. This has been an excellent start. They believe.

Two of Liverpool's fabled front three combine but this time Sadio Mane can only stretch and head over the bar.

Decent game at Anfield despite the scoreline.

Another wonderful save in this match. Both sides have now hit the woodwork.

Decent build up play and good flick on to Marko Arnautovic and he didn’t blast it. Just chips it, but what a save from Karius, touching it onto the crossbar.

Lorus Karius makes an unbelievable save from Marko Arnautovic. I can appreciate that as a goalkeeper.

Mike van der Hoorn bundles over Glenn Murray in the box and the referee points the spot!

Murray is the man to take it... a composed finish beyond the keeper for a very valuable early lead.

Anfield still a bit shocked after that moment of class from Marko Arnautovic. West Ham denied a great goal in the end.

The Hammers are having a good spell though, plenty of play in midfield.

    Dwight Gayle

What a pass this is from Jonjo Shelvey up the line to Matt Ritchie down the wing to set this move in motion. He takes out the back line, Ritchie has space to scamper in a cross that is not stopped and Dwight Gayle taps in.

David: What we sometimes forget is that you don't have to be any good to stay up. You just need three teams that are even worse.

Anon: Southampton can only go for a win here, nothing else.

Wow! That was right out of the top drawer! Nearly a sensational goal by Marko Arnautovic!

He's running away from goal, Kop End, and manages to clip a lofted shot from about 25 yards. It's beautifully judged, but all credit to Loris Karius who gets a feather of a touch on it to push the ball on to the bar.

Pablo Zabaleta then flashes a volley wide.

Nice play from Matt Ritchie to dink the ball up towards DeAndre Yedlin, totally bamboozling the Bournemouth players looking to press him high, a really nice composed bit of play.

Very evenly matched here, both sides are playing some tidy football. Zippy.

  19. GOOD SAVE!published at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Burnley 0-0 Southampton

This is a really good save from Nick Pope - I didn't appreciate how well he did to react first time but he was unsighted from Dusan Tadic's powerful stab towards goal. The Burnley keeper claws it away.

    Livening up, this one.

West Ham are 11th as it stands but such is the concertinaed nature of the bottom half they are only four ponts clear of the bottom three. It's a crazy old world down there.

Liverpool will go second with a win and they almost find Mo Salah once more with a ball over the top but he is just about tackled.
