  1. 'A very tight call'published at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

Very close. In fact, Victor Lindelof was playing Alvaro Morata onside there - a very tight call that Chelsea are on the wrong end of.

  2. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 85 mins

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

Nemanja Matic penalised for a foul. Yellow card. Must be the sheer quantity of them. Willian dazzles on the edge before finding Marcos Alonso, but there is no whipped cross from wide.

Instead there is a cute dink over the back-line from Cesc Fabregas - into Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard finishes in off the post but the whistle had gone for offside.

On the replay, I tell you what, that is very, very close. I'm not sure he was.

Just SIX minutes left plus stoppages. Manchester United are into game management mode now. The home fans sing as Jesse Lingard delays over a free-kick he eventually clips into Thibaut Courtois' gloves.

The away side have to find something and fast.

Billy: Negative tactics from Conte this time has cost them again. Why take of your best player in such a big game?

Raphael: What’s the wisdom in pulling out Hazard? Pull out Morata and get Giroud. This game is crying for him. Morata haven’t done anything yet in this game, Antonio, get Giroud in ASAP

  5. 'Don't do that'published at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Victor Lindelof basically shouted at himself for putting the hosts in trouble just then.

The Swede turned round and yelled, fist pumping after Chris Smalling had raced in to save his blushes.

I hope he could hear himself.

We saw the same thing at Bournemouth yesterday - a sub came on with notes from Eddie Howe on the new system.

Antonio Rudiger and Nemanja Matic square up. The ref brings them together and gives them a talking too. Matic put hands on Rudiger over a challenge he didn't like.

Here comes Eric Bailly for Manchester United - he is on for Alexis Sanchez, his first league appearance since injury in November.

A defensive switch as we head in to the last 10 minutes. Manchester United have levered themselves into this winning position, can they hang on for all three points?

Chelsea make a change too - Danny Drinkwater comes off for Cesc Fabregas.

  10. 'Lingard timed his run well'published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

    Mark Lawrenson
BBC football expert on BBC Radio 5 live

It was a very late run into the box from Jesse Lingard, Andreas Christensen was rooted to the spot, but Lingard timed the run well. If I’m not mistaken, more often than not when he comes on he scores, and they’re fantastic goals.

Nervy moments for United though in the immediate aftermath to the goal as Willian spins into space and tests David de Gea at his near post - the Spaniard fences the ball away.

Chelsea make another change - Olivier Giroud is off and Victor Moses off. A big sign of intent from Antonio Conte.

  13. 'A fine cross, and a fine headed goal'published at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

Another substitute makes an impact for Manchester United. And for Romelu Lukaku, it's one scored and one made.

Chelsea will ask questions about the space Jesse Lingard had to move into, but it's a fine cross and a very fine headed goal.

    Jesse Lingard

    That will do it!

Romelu Lukaku steps up not just with a vital goal but how about an assist, too?

He bullies his way into space on the right wing, cuts inside and drifts a left-footed cross into the box. It's the perfect height to attack and Jesse Lingard'srun from deep is doing just that.

Lingard steers the ball home, a cushioned, composed header.

    Simon Stone

There was almost an audible intake of breath around Old Trafford when David de Gea mishandled that free-kick.

His reactions were quick enough to prevent a calamity but you could hear the air being sucked out of the ground.

De Gea has spent most of the second half shielding his eyes from a fairly fierce sun that in shining right at him.

Not entirely sure why he doesn't have a cap with him.

Tom Wilkinson: Giroud will win this for Chelsea if they bring him on with enough time to spare, he's a perfect foil for Hazard. I miss him at Arsenal far more than Sanchez.

Joseph: I feel that Giroud would be better at the moment than Morata. He's just been poor today.
