    One that is moving...

Senegal international Badou Ndiaye is hoping to arrive in England later today to complete a £15m transfer from Galatasaray to Stoke City.

But the move is subject to a work permit and a visa being granted.

This may be a stumbling block as Ndiaye hasn't played the requisite number of senior internationals for Senegal (60% over the last two years).

Personal terms have been agreed and I understand Ndiaye did not consider a move to Newcastle despite interest.

Ndiaye is a combative midfielder who only joined Galatasaray in August. He is expected to be in Senegal’s World Cup squad.

    This is an excellent story...

Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony says striker Ricky Miller is "driving me mad" by turning down chances to leave the League One club.

Miller, 28, joined from Dover last summer but has not scored in 13 games.

"It hasn't worked out, we see value in him, all these clubs see value in him," MacAnthony told BBC Cambridgeshire.

"He'd prefer a move closer to home - typical footballers - but I'm not willing to do that, the club closer to home isn't even competing financially.

"Ricky's turned down about five different clubs. He's turning loads of them down and it's driving me mad because he's not going to get game time here.

"If he's going to base it on geography and whatever else he's in the wrong industry - if you're going to base moves on geography being a football player, don't play football."

  20. A Pep type playerpublished at 08:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2018

    Julien Laurens
French football expert on BBC Radio 5 live

Aymeric Laporte is a Pep Guardiola type of player, so good on the ball. He carries the ball into midfield, he is perfect for City and City are perfect for him.

City were ready to pay 60m Euros for him in 2016 but he said he was not ready and he wanted to stay at Athletic Bilbao. Now 18 months later they are back for him and he feels ready.

He knows now is the time, the World Cup is in six months and he has not been capped by France yet. Didier Deschamps is sceptical about him, physically especially. That is the only question mark over him coming to the Premier League. He will face different types of strikers than in Spain.

He has only been called up once by France and he is even considering switching allegiances to Spain, where he qualifies through residency
