    Fulham 0-0 Sheff Utd

This one has a lot to live up to after the 5-4 classic in November, and it's the Blades who spurn the first chance.

Billy Sharp, normally so dependable in front of goal, has a free header eight yards out but powers it well over.

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

    Reading 0-0 Bolton

Tonight's late game begins at the Madejski Stadium, with both sides looking for points to move away from the relegation zone.

    Preston 0-0 Bristol City

Good start from the home side at Deepdale, with four shots on Bristol City's goal already.

Alan Browne fires wide following a dangerous Paul Gallagher free-kick.

    Birmingham 0-0 Middlesbrough

The hosts are having to withstand a bit of pressure here.

Harlee Dean is the saviour as he blocks a dangerous first-time effort from in-form Boro striker Patrick Bamford.

How can Birmingham get the fans on side?

  6. Postpublished at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

    Birmingham 0-0 Middlesbrough

How has the Garry Monk era started at Birmingham City?

Well they've made a relatively encouraging start at St Andrew's but it's Boro who register a shot on target first, with Stewart Downing forcing a simple stop from David Stockdale.

  7. Postpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

    Cardiff 0-0 Barnsley

The last three Championship matches between these sides at the Cardiff City Stadium have produced 17 goals, so here's hoping for more.

Cardiff have won their last four league games without conceding, but relegation-threatened Barnsley have started well, with Mama Thiam pushing on down the right flank.

    Fulham 0-0 Sheff Utd

There are plenty of empty seats at Craven Cottage as a large number of fans are stuck in disruption on the district line tube service in the capital.

Let's hope for their sake they don't miss anything, but Fulham have been on red-hot form of late.

    Sunderland 0-0 Aston Villa

They're under way at the Stadium of Light.

Nigel Adkins won't be smiling as much now (see 19:26 GMT post).

Hull are already deep in relegation trouble and a lovely Lee Gregory backheel sets up George Saville.

The Millwall man beats a challenge and slots home confidently.

    Reading v Bolton (20:00 GMT)

    Jaap StamImage source, Getty Images

There is one match starting at 20:00 GMT at the Madejski Stadium.

While Bolton have known that they're in a relegation battle since the get-go, Reading's poor form over the last three months has seen them slip towards danger.

Both sides come into this crucial match on 34 points - four above the relegation zone - but Jaap Stam's embattled Royals do have a game in hand because of the postponement of Saturday's trip to leaders Wolves.

Rumours have swirled for some time regarding Stam's job security following a run of one win in the last 14 league games and just six points taken in 2018.

This has the makings of a must-win match for the Dutchman.

Fulham v Sheff Utd (19:45 GMT)

    Ryan SessegnonImage source, Rex Features

There might be plenty riding on this game but it would be impossible to start without mentioning November's 5-4 thriller between the sides.

Fulham came out on top that night and their 13-game unbeaten run in the Championship has them flying high in fourth, five points from an automatic promotion place.

The Blades meanwhile are enjoying something of a resurgence, with three wins from four, and are just two points from the final play-off spot.

However they've kept just one clean sheet in 17 away league games and have to keep out 14-goal Ryan Sessegnon - who is on fire and grabbed a hat-trick when they last met.

  17. Postpublished at 19:36 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

Burton Albion v Brentford (19:45 GMT)

Burton Albion could well be relegated to League One at the end of the campaign because of their results at the Pirelli Stadium.

The Brewers have lost 12 home Championship matches this season - three more than any other side in the division. They have gone 13 without a win at home and have taken just nine of a possible 51 points on their own soil in 2017-18.

Brentford are patchy away from home, with their recent form away from Griffin Park reading LWLWLWL. However, the Bees have not lost back-to-back away league games since August 2017.

Taking into account both sides' form and Brentford's win/loss pattern, the Bees will be confident of a win.

Sheff Wed v Ipswich (19:45 GMT)

    Jos LuhukayImage source, Empics

Is Jos really the boss? Technically yes, but Luhukay's spell at Sheffield Wednesday has been far from impressive thus far.

Just one league win from his nine in charge sees the Owls languishing down in 17th while ex-manager Carlos Carvalhal is flavour of the month in the Premier League with Swansea.

Ipswich are as mid-table as can be but have conceded just four goals in eight, while the wily Mick McCarthy has never been beaten at Hillsborough in his managerial career.

    League One & Two

After their fine FA Cup run ended at Wembley last week, it's back to reality for Rochdale.

League One's bottom side are 12 points from safety, although pitch woes and their cup exploits means Dale have four or five matches in hand on their relegation rivals.

Tonight they visit Walsall, who are bouncing after a 3-0 win at in-form Southend on Saturday.

In League Two, Mansfield begin life under David Flitcroft with a home game against Lincoln, high-flying Accrington play Morecambe, Notts County visit Cheltenham, and Newport host cross-border neighbours Forest Green Rovers.
