Vincent Watts: How did QPR score in the 45+3 minute with only 1 minute of additional time? I know it’s a minimum of 1 minute, but in minute 3 is a joke!

I suspect the fact that Fulham scored in the final minute of the half added some extra time. But I guess it proves the old adage 'play to the whistle'!

    Fulham 2-1 QPR

Fulham take more than a few risks playing out from the back and when the long ball up field finally comes as Rangers press, Aleksandar Mitrovic almost tees up a chance.

He gives them multiple options if the slow build-up is not working.

  3. League Two updatepublished at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

Goals in both of our games in League Two!

Lee Frecklington and Matt Green have both scored in the space of three minutes to give Lincoln control of their game with Grimsby.

And Notts County lead the Nottinghamshire derby against Mansfield Town courtesy of Terry Hawkridge's scrambled finish from close range.

QPR have looked dangerous going forward, they just haven't had anywhere near the possession Fulham have enjoyed.

A simple free-kick led to that Massimo Luongo goal just before the break and for all Fulham's dominance, the visitors are right in this.

It's 74% possession for the hosts, but five shots apiece.

    Barnsley 0-0 Millwall

It's been a mostly scrappy opening at Oakwell where Barnsley and Millwall remains goalless.

Just the one effort on target so far, with Lions keeper Jordan Archer saving Kieffer Moore's header.

    Massimo Luongo

Now then. A glorious turn and finish by Massimo Luongo after a free-kick is played into the box and Rangers are back in this.

Matt Smith's aerial presence is the telling factor and Luongo turns sharply and smashes the ball home from about eight yards.

Fulham are uncharacteristically sloppy in their approach play in midfield and keeper Marcus Bettinelli is called on to make a decent low stop from Pawal Wszolek.

Another close call call for QPR, who have Jake Bidwell to thank for a goal-saving challenge to stop Aleksandar Mitrovic adding a simple second.

QPR then counter and once again a tight offside flag halts their progress.

Eberechi Eze found some space but his neat ball through found two Rs attackers pushing their luck.

    Fulham 0-0 QPR

A chance to get a shot away at the other end.

Jake Bidwell delivers a fine ball in from the left flank but Pawal Wszolek takes too much time and eventually sees his shot blocked.

He should have taken that first time surely?

There is plenty to admire about Fulham's approach play. Sheer weight of numbers comes to QPR's rescue again after a barnstorming Aleksandar Mitrovic run.

It wasn't all muscle though, he showed some neat touches.
