The fans are showing their frustration towards Ozil now. There was no intelligence about his last piece of play.

For the first time in a while, City have a hold of the ball and Arsenal are chasing shadows. It's possession stuff. Side to side, forward and back, let red legs get tired. Is Mesut Ozil still playing?

It's worth making the point that Arsenal have absolutely bossed the second half without taking advantage. They have not learned from the ruthlessness shown by City in the first half.

You're looking at developing the ball. Xhaka is the only option for Cech, then he looks up and goes back to the keeper. It's the construction of that build-up play by Arsenal - and Wenger has to improve it.

Close! Nicely worked by Arsenal from a corner, the ball drops to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang towards the edge of the box, but his volley is dragged wide.

Looking again at the penalty, Ederson probably could have taken a step to his left and caught it in his belly. Like a slip fielder snaffling an edge. The dive made it look harder than it was. Manchester City clean sheet still intact.

Mark: I've defended Wenger for years now, as I feel that he doesn't get enough respect for what he achieved at Arsenal but even I'm saying it's time for a shake up at the Emirates! Time for a change?

What is going on out there? Petr Cech almost gifts the ball to Sergio Aguero then, at the other end, Ederson wipes out Nicolas Otamendi.

By the way, should Otamendi still be on the pitch? He was booked in the first half.

It was very wild from Otamendi. Mkhitaryan got there ahead of him and there's definitely been a reaction from Arsenal. But I just had a feeling Aubameyang was going to miss it. He went for his trusted corner but there wasn't enough pace on it. Ederson was majestic and you've got to hit it better to beat him from there. These are buildings blocks, you get one goal and work from there, but it's just another slap in the face for the Arsenal fans.

You couldn't make it up, could you? Or maybe, given Arsenal's night, it was inevitable.

It's weak from Aubameyang, the sort of penalty that keeper's dream of. Comfortable height for Ederson, only just to his left. He barely has to dive to beat it away.

Arsene Wenger simply shakes his head.

Arsene never really rants and raves. He'll be trying to look at some sort of positive and try to build. But Ozil's just had it three times and given it away three times. I wonder if Arsene will say 'just come and sit next to me'? Does he need to do something like that?

Are there even more empty seats now? Either that or some of the Arsenal fans have come dressed in red plastic. City have barely had a kick in the first five minutes of this second half.

Earlier this week, Ian Wright said he couldn't see a future for Wenger at Arsenal. Now these comments by Martin Keown. These players, the ones of Wenger's early years, are his real disciples. When they say things are bad, they really are bad.

The ingredients were put together by Wenger in 2004. Everyone was at boiling point and they had that desire to win games. You could see it with a player in midfield that controls the ball and demands the ball from the defenders. There was Overmars, Petit and Vieira.

Wenger inherited a defence but he worked with that platform. They didn’t have any of that defence in 2004 but still had the same desire. People have been in the comfort zone too long in the this team.

No sign of any changes. Rumours that Arsenal asked to play 14 men are unconfirmed.
