So what's next for England?

Their final game of the SheBelieves Cup sees them travel to sunny Florida to face hosts USA in the early hours of Thursday morning, and it's all to play for with England only top of the standings on goal difference.

Kick-off is at midnight (GMT) but at least you've got a good excuse when your boss asks you why you look so tired...

That said, England never gave up and a classy second goal from Ellen White gave them the point they deserved.

Plenty of food for thought for Neville and his coaching team over the coming days.

Given how dominant England's performance against France was on Thursday, Phil Neville will be wondering what went wrong tonight.

The Lionesses defence looked very shaky throughout and they were made to pay for it with that second Germany goal. They'll have nightmares about that one.

Anon: Watched a few England women games over the last year or so. I actually think they are much more entertaining than the men. More confidence and better execution.

In the past heads would have gone down when they went behind but the fact that England now have that resilience allowed them to get back into the game.

Well that was quite the 90 minutes.

Far from an assured England performance, and the Lionesses have a lot to thank Ellen White for as her two goals ensure a point against a stronger German side.

I don't know about you but my heart is beating ten to the dozen after those final few minutes of German possession....

Just after, Bright clears a cross into the path of Marozsan who hits it on the volley, but her direction is off and it flies into the crowd behind the net.

Hairy times for England.

At the other end, England narrowly avoid scoring another own goal.

Alexandra Popp unleashes a strike and it hits Millie Bright somewhat awkwardly before sailing past the post.

That was a great ball from Izzy Christiansen straight into Rachel Daly's path.

She was so tenacious in the middle of the park to win the ball and then what a ball through that is.

Rachel Daly could have won it for England there!

Izzy Christiansen, who has looked good for the Lionesses since coming on, feeds the ball through to Daly. She takes a touch but hits her effort straight at Schult.

Ellen White has been a thorn in Germany's side today.

It's a change for Germany too as Johanna Elsig comes on for Lena Goessling.

Three minutes left of normal time.

And that was the last action of the game for Lawley as she's subbed off. Rachel Daly comes on in her place.

Lawley's had a great game in what has been far from a good performance from England. She's looked very dangerous on the wing with some fine balls into the box.

Mel Lawley just looked to be knocked off the ball there but the referee waves it away.

Clearly frustrated, Lawley makes a challenge and receives a yellow card for it. Bit harsh.

I think Alexandra Popp will be disappointed when you consider how good she is in the air. I'm not sure why she is being marked by Nikita Parris.

It's a fantastic ball in by Dzsenifer Marozsan and she's one of the best headers of the ball in the German side.

Ellen White just had a very good chance to score her third! She finds herself in front of goal but instead of shooting quickly, she's looking for a team-mate to square it to.

There's nobody there though and she hurries into a shot, but it's straight at the goalkeeper.

Two corner kicks in quick succession for Germany.

A great delivery from captain Marozsan from the second and Alexandra Popp rises highest! Luckily for England, she heads it over the bar but, quite honestly, she should have done better.

England boss Phil Neville will have been boosted by that equaliser, but he won't want to watch Germany's second goal back on the video this evening.

Our commentator Jonathan Pearce called it a 'catalogue of errors' and it's hard to argue with him.

Right, just under 15 minutes to go. This game is once again wide open and England's for the taking.
