Nick: It's England playing, but not as we know it.

Koba: Italy aren't half bad but England are better. That's something I never thought I'd be writing - outside of a dream.

Stephen: I know you can only beat whats in front of you and on paper beating holland and italy in successive games looks good but these are the worst teams on there history.

    England 1-0 Italy

Just under 10 minutes of normal time left for Italy to find a way back. England have certainly had the upper-hand in this second half but Insigne's effort just a few minutes ago has been the best chance since the break.

Lots of late drama in Poland v South Korea. The Poles were cruising to a 2-0 win before Lee Chang-min and Hwang Hee-chan's goals in the last five minutes levelled things up... but Piotr Zielinski scored in injury time to put Poland ahead again.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored his second in the game at Barnet, Serbia lead Nigeria 2-0.

Belgium have beaten Saudi Arabia 4-0.

Oh that would have been a lovely goal! Jorginho lofts a delightful ball over the top for Lorenzo Insigne but the striker's volleying effort just bounces inches wide.

Jonny: Kyle Walker is excellent in a back three, quick, strong, good on the ball. Definite plus point from these friendlies.

Neil: If Southgate has turned Kyle Walker into the dream shadow fullback at centre-half, never mind Pep, give Gaz a knighthood right now.

I think Raheem Sterling has been the best player today. Everything had gone through him, he moved into some great areas.

He has had a great season at Manchester City and I'm sure he will be desperate for a goal.

Jesse Lingard wins the ball back in midfield after some tenacious pressing and the move ends in a shot over the bar from Raheem Sterling.

Ben: Italy seem uncharacteristically blunt. England seem uncharacteristically incisive. Can we maintain it beyond this week and into Russia though?

Christopher: This is not good from England. It's giving me hope for the Summer; hope that had previously been dormant for the past 12 years.
