    Swansea 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday

That's nice from Tammy Abraham. He holds the ball up well in midfield before looking to play in Sam Clucas.

It eventually falls to Jordan Ayew and he doesn't hesitate in taking another shot. It's a tame one though and an easy save for Cameron Dawson.

Swansea haven't been brilliant but they have been just about good enough.

What I will say is that they had to make changes, did so and have their rewards. Ayew has made a real difference to the game.

This is a big win for Swansea. After losing 4-1 to Brighton, it just gets a bit of confidence back. And now they've got West Ham on Saturday.

Just under five minutes of normal time left to play. Can Sheffield Wednesday grab two late goals and take it to extra-time?

They haven't looked like doing so...

Leon Britton comes on to make his first appearance since October as goalscorer Nathan Dyer comes off.

He was of course their caretaker manager briefly before Carlos Carvalhal was appointed.

What is mystifying now with Sheffield Wednesday is that they've gone three up top, and two of them are big and a handful. They're about to go out of the competition so just get the ball up to them quicker.

  9. goal

GOAL - Swansea 2-0 Sheffield Wednesdaypublished at 80 mins

    Nathan Dyer

Nathan Dyer makes a great run in behind the defence and Tammy Abraham picks him out, slipping the ball through the legs of the two centre-backs before Dyer does the same to Cameron Dawson.

2-0 - and game over, surely?

That's the first decent cross they've got into Nuhiu, considering his size. He's very big and awkward

    Swansea 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday's Atdhe Nuhiu has struggled to make an impact so far but the visitors eventually play a ball into the box for him to get his head on.

He is always climbing and it goes out for a throw-in but Wednesday need to do more of that.

Swansea are just a little panicky when they have the ball. There is no real urgency! They are 1-0 up!

    Swansea 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday

The Swans are pressing well off the ball but with it, they are still making sloppy mistakes - giving the ball away under little pressure in midfield.

Swansea give the ball away just outside the box and Adam Reach latches on to it. He snatches at the shot though and it flies harmlessly wide of Nordfeldt's left post.

Jordan Ayew has made all the difference for Swansea. He drives through the middle, committing players and eventually wins a foul off Glenn Loovens.
