  1. Make historypublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2018

    Swansea 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday

    BBC One

Swansea defender Angel Rangel on BBC One: "We've enjoyed some good positions but haven't had a cutting edge. We've been too narrow and compact but there's so much space behind we can exploit. A clean sheet is good but we should be showing more attacking threat.

"The manager's trying to get us to do that in training and I hope we come out in the second half and show more enthusiasm.

"If we win today we can make history so for the players that's extra motivation because we want to bounce back from losing 4-1 at Brighton."

Sheffield Wednesday have to show more of the same, keep it nice and tight and contain them. Then at the other end they need to be more clinical because they've had some chances. They just need to make the next one count

  7. KICK-OFF - Second halfpublished at 46 mins

    Swansea 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Even Swansea's official Twitter account admitted that first half 'wasn't a classic' but the second half is underway and it can only get better surely?

If not, we're going to extra-time and potentially a penalty shoot-out. But we'll come to that later if we have to...

Former Republic of Ireland winger on BBC One

I don't think Tammy Abraham's done enough. He's come towards the ball instead of trying to stretch the defence. Nathan Dyer's been the bright spark in the Swansea team but Abraham needs to affect it more with a bit of movement in behind.

Dyer's been coming in off the right, finding pockets of space on the half turn, but we need to see more from Abraham because I think he's got it in his locker.

Thomas Hollern: Has a match ever been abandoned due to the fact that nothing was happening and the ref had seen enough?

Michael Roberts: Such a dull game.

James Liggins: Wouldn’t exactly call this a classic. Atmosphere sounds worse than a friendly. Please can we have something to ignite it, like a goal, a bad challenge, or dodgy VAR decision. Anything!

    Swansea 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday

    Mark Schwarzer
    Ex-Chelsea keeper on BBC One

Sheffield Wednesday have actually had the better chances, it took a really good save from Kristoffer Nordfeldt to keep them out. It was a really good reflex save and he got up again to eliminate the danger. I thought Jordan Rhodes would get onto the end of the cross but the keeper reacts really well.

Tom: The game is absolute 'Dyer' so far.

Dave Clancy: A rare treat to see the mighty Owls on terrestrial TV... but that was 45 minutes of my life I’ll never get back!

    Scott: This is woeful.

    Swansea 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Lots of possession for Swansea but they looked cagey and didn't really create too much. Sheffield Wednesday had the better of the chances - Jordan Rhodes and Jacob Butterfield forcing those two saves out of Kristoffer Nordfeldt.

Not too much else to report on.

I'm kind of hoping the game is just warming up. There is nobody out there who seems to be playing the final pass quickly enough.
