Pash: Highlights of the Swansea v Sheffield Wednesday game so far: Angel Rangel's welsh-tinged accent. 'This Charming Man' playing over the tannoy at half time.

Aaron Thomas: Wow Angel Rangel has a little Welsh accent Being at Swansea City for 11 years Now I can see why he has a little Welsh accent

Ben: Wise words from Angel Rangel on BBC Sport at half time. Model professional with a great attitude and work ethic. Hope to see him back on the pitch soon!

Credit to Carlos Carvalhal, he chucked the meat on the barbecue and there were instant rewards for Swansea.

His double change at half time has paid off with Jordan Ayew's goal and suddenly the game has opened up. Sheffield Wednesday have to give it a go now.

Still very quiet in the Liberty Stadium.

    Still -2.

Another chance falls to Tammy Abraham as he finds himself in space with the ball on the edge of the box.

His attempted strike is tame though and it's collected comfortably by Cameron Dawson.

The Owls haven't given up though. Adam Reach makes a darting run down the right and delivers a dangerous ball into the box.

Jordan Rhodes tries to get there first but is penalised.

Reach then has a chance himself just seconds later but he can't get the ball out from under his feet within the six-yard box.

Carlos Carvalhal will be licking his lips after that goal. He took a risk with those two substitutions at half-time in an attempt to liven things up and it has worked.

It was an extremely well worked goal. It was a positive substitution at the start of the second half and we've got a goal. It was a good move and a great strike by Carroll, and Ayew kept his head. The keeper had no chance. Swansea have just looked a different team from the 46th minute and Tammy Abraham has looked a different player because he's got players around him. Game on!

That goal is absolutely fine - Swansea made positive changes and they had looked a lot livelier.

Now - hopefully - we will get a game of football. Will Sheffield Wednesday make changes now or will they wait?

GOAL - Swansea 1-0 Sheffield Wednesdaypublished at 55 mins

    Jordan Ayew

Tom Carroll delivers an unstoppable strike which bounces off the inside of both posts before half-time substitute Jordan Ayew slots in the rebound.

It was a neat finish too by Ayew because the rebound came at him quite quickly.

  18. Cycle of change for Swanspublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2018

    Swansea 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday

    BBC One

Swansea defender Angel Rangel on BBC One: "In the last few years we've been recognised by our style of play. It's been attacking football, with players who are good on the ball. We've lost that a bit in the last two seasons. It's been a cycle, it's changed a bit, some of the players that have been brought in maybe didn't suit that style.

"But for every team, things change after a few years. You see it in big teams like Real Madrid and Barca so it's going to be the same with Swansea. Hopefully we'll go back to that style soon."

Terrific ball from Mike van der Hoorn into Nathan Dyer. The Swansea winger loses possession but Sam Clucas quickly wins it back.

Jordan Ayew gathers the ball, drives at the defence and leaves it for Dyer to chip it into Tammy Abraham.

The striker is offside though, but that was nice from Swansea.

It's still a bit sloppy. Both teams have won the ball back and then lost possession almost immediately on more than one occasion in the last three minutes.
