  1. Celtic eye title flag and another treblepublished at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    FT: Rangers 2-3 Celtic

What a weekend it has proven to be for Celtic.

First, third-top Aberdeen, who have been their closest challengers in recent seasons, drop points with a draw away to Partick Thistle.

Then, despite being down to 10 men for much of the second half, Brendan Rodgers' side come from behind to beat in-form Rangers to stretch their lead over their Glasgow rivals to nine points.

The title is surely on its way back to Celtic Park and, with a Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers to come, a second domestic treble in a row is tantalisingly within touching distance.

That's all from the challengers - and that's all from me.

Meanwhile, you can catch the highlights from this weekend's games on Sportscene on BBC Two Scotland starting at 18:00 and there will also be highlights later online.

  2. We showed champion mentality - Rodgerspublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    FT: Rangers 2-3 Celtic

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, talking to BBC Radio Scotland: "You always have to have humility in your approach to the game and respect your opponent.

"There was a lot of noise before the game, but that’s natural – they’ve been on a good run and at home, thinking they could get the victory.

"But I think the players today showed their quality and that real champion mentality.

"It’s a big step for us to go nine points clear with a game in hand, but we still have a lot of work to do.

"But an absolutely brilliant win and a great day for the supporters."

  3. We have plan for 10 men - Rodgerspublished at 14:17 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    FT: Rangers 2-3 Celtic

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers talking to Sky Sports: "We made some mistakes in the first half but played the better football and tried to cope with Rangers playing direct in behind.

"Second-half, we go down to 10 men, but we have a plan for that – we work in training on the importance of staying calm and the shape within that and I thought the last 30 minutes demonstrated the tactical courage of the team and how we want to play with 10 men.

"I can see why Willie’s given [the red card]. Normally, when the centre-half is coming across with the striker, he’s fighting for his space, it’s normally a straighter arm and there’s no drama.

"But when he catches him with his elbow, you can see why they give it.

"We then have to show the resilience, but we coped very well with it."

  5. The basics cost us - Murtypublished at 14:14 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    FT: Rangers 2-3 Celtic

Rangers manager Graeme Murty talking to Sky Sports: "It’s incredibly tough, but we were punished by not doing the basics very, very well - passing the ball, shifting the ball and defending.

"I thought the second goal in particular highlighted that the basics weren't right - fundamental defending and you can’t get done by one simple ball.

"We get another lift with the sending off and, once again, we didn’t show the quality, composure or tempo with the ball. We were happy to deliver the ball into the box rather than play through them.

"There are a few things in there we need to get better at – it wasn’t just hinging on that one miss."

  7. We do our talking on park - Brownpublished at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    FT: Rangers 2-3 Celtic

Celtic captain Scott Brown talking to Sky Sports: "We went in half-time having scored a late goal and we knew second-half we’d dominate.

"Sadly, we lost a man, but we stuck to our task and we defended really well overall.

"We always believed we could do it, no matter what.

"We’ve come here four times and won four games, so we believe we can win here all the time now.

"They did a lot of talking beforehand - we stayed quiet. We usually do our talking on the park."

    Quote Message

The title race was over before kick off really, but it definitely is now. For a team who have been scoring goals recently, Rangers will be disappointed with the last 20 minutes as they didn't create enough. But Morelos will be replaying that moment in the back of his mind for some time

To dig a victory out of a 10-man performance is something else. Bringing Edouard on raised a few eyebrows, but it worked out perfectly. For Rangers, the Morelos miss is something else

  11. FULL-TIME Rangers 2-3 Celticpublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

The final whistle blows and it surely signals the end to Rangers' title challenge.

Celtic secure a fourth consecutive win at Ibrox for the first time since 1909.

They go nine points clear at the top of the Premiership - and they still have a game in hand.

And they scored their winner, through substitute Odsonne Edouard, despite being reduced to 10 men following a red card shown to Jozo Simunovic.

Now wonder Brendan Rodgers and his players did an enthusiastic victory dance of the pitch of their bitterest rivals.

    Quote Message

You will never see a miss like this. He's two yards out with the goal as his mercy. Morelos has to score. He hits the post and goes along the line into Scott Bain's arms. That is the biggest miss of the season

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 87mins

    Rangers 2-3 Celtic

Rangers ought to be level, but what a miss from Alfredo Morelos.

Scott Bain pushes away a low Josh Windass shot, but it only travels as far as the Colombian standing four yards from goal.

The striker prods it against the inside of the post and into the arms of the goalkeeper.

Three quarters of Ibrox holds its collective head in its hands in despair.

  16. Armstrong on for Dembelepublished at 84mins

    Rangers 2-3 Celtic

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers looks to tighten up and kill the game as he takes off striker Moussa Dembele and replaces him with fit-again midfielder Stuart Armstrong.

    Rangers 2-3 Celtic

    Pat Bonner

    Quote Message

There's just a lack of creativity from Rangers. They're looking to get crosses into the box, but around the area, they don't have the likes of Rogic and those types of players to open up a little bit of space and that's the difference between the teams

  19. YELLOW CARD Scott Bainpublished at 79mins

    Rangers 2-3 Celtic

Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain is booked for time wasting.

  20. Postpublished at 79mins

    Rangers 2-3 Celtic

Despite their extra man, Rangers are struggling to create chances against the 10 men of Celtic.

They have just over 10 minutes to find an answer, but there is a lack of creativity from the hosts at the moment as the champions defend in numbers.
