    Quote Message

Rangers were the better team for 35 minutes. But Celtic have come back twice without playing well and will go into that team talk confident after finishing the half the stronger and I expect them to be the next team to score

    Quote Message

It was just a ball played forward, Scott Brown was under pressure when he hit the pass. But what is Cardoso doing? He’s sleeping. He’s allowed Dembele to run in between him and Alves. Foderingham compounded the problem coming off his line.

  5. HALF-TIME Rangers 2-2 Celticpublished at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

What a first half, what a game. It has been relentless from start to finish.

Josh Windass' clinical finish was cancelled out by an equally sublime finish from Tom Rogic, while defensive errors allowed Daniel Candeias to restore Rangers' lead and Moussa Dembele to level on the stroke of half-time.

Has the momentum turned towards the reigning champions again, having taken control after being given an early fright by confident hosts?

  6. goal

GOAL Rangers 2-2 Celticpublished at 45mins

    Moussa Dembele

It has been coming, but it was poor defending by Rangers that allows Celtic to level as the game enters stoppage time.

Fabio Cardoso allows Moussa Dembele to reach a long clearance from Scott Brown and the France Under-21 striker lofts the ball over goalkeeper Wes Foderingham and into the unguarded net.

  7. Foderingham 'down sharp' to keep Gers aheadpublished at 12:45 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers 2-1 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

That was a really, really good save. Down sharp with his left, good hand on the ball. But that was brilliant play by Celtic. They’re starting to get into the game now and create things. They’re on the front foot and that was great feet from Callum McGregor

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 43mins

    Rangers 2-1 Celtic

On-loan QPR midfielder Sean Goss is the first to go into Willie Collum's book and is lucky to only see yellow after a cynical lunge that pulls down Kieran Tierney.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 42mins

    Rangers 2-1 Celtic

Celtic are piling on the pressure as we near the break and goalkeeper Wes Foderingham does well to get down to a low Callum McGregor drive to turn the ball wide of the far post.

  10. Postpublished at 37mins

    Rangers 2-1 Celtic

A push by Greg Docherty on the marauding James Forrest gives Celtic a chance from a free-kick.

They keep the pressure on with a couple of corners and goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has to push away a controlled header from Moussa Dembele.

  11. Postpublished at 33mins

    Rangers 2-1 Celtic

Celtic scorer Tom Rogic tries his luck again, but his long range effort is straight at goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.

  12. Postpublished at 30mins

    Rangers 2-1 Celtic

Alfredo Morelos is the next to leave Dedryck Boyata exposed.

The Colombian striker sweeps past the Belgian and powers a low drive across the face of goal.

Fortunately for Celtic, there are no takers in light blue.

  13. Boyata suspect againpublished at 12:30 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers 2-1 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Boyata has got to be in front of Morelos - you cannot allow a player to run across you into that front-post area. If he was in front of him, he would have cleared it. He didn't and then anything can happen

  14. John the fulcrum for Gerspublished at 12:29 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers 2-1 Celtic

    Steven Thompson
Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

It all comes from the cross from Declan John, again getting in behind the Celtic defence. But Celtic have got to deal with it – Boyata doesn’t deal with the first bounce, Tierney doesn’t deal with the second and in at the back post is Candeias. He hits it as hard as he can and it finds its way into the net

  15. goal

GOAL Rangers 2-1 Celticpublished at 25mins

    Daniel Candeias

Rangers are back in front as Alfredo Morelos holds off Dedryck Boyata as the Celtic defender looks to clear a Declan John cross at the near post and it falls to Daniel Daneias at the back post.

The winger fires an emphatic low drive past goalkeeper Scott Bain, helped by a slight nick off the heel of defender Kieran Tierney.

  16. Boyata 'disorientated'published at 12:26 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers 1-1 Celtic

Dedryck Boyata looks awkward and unconvincing in the Celtic rearguard. At fault for the Gers goal, he has been caught in possession again.

"He’s all over the place," says Steven Thompson. "For a match of this magnitude, you’ve got to be switched on mentally and physically – he’s neither."

Pat Bonner adds: "His orientation is off because he doesn’t see around him and, when you don’t play for a while, that’s what catches you out."

  17. Postpublished at 24mins

    Rangers 1-1 Celtic

The game continues to rage from end to end and, after a disputed corner, Jozo Simunovic prods an effort over Rangers' bar from 10 yards.

  18. Gerrard impressed?published at 12:24 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers 1-1 Celtic

Former England and Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is in the Ibrox stand today.

And one of the best attacking midfielders British football produced must have been impressed by two goals, both scored by players charging forward from the centre of the park.

  19. Bain in the neck for Celtic?published at 12:23 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers 1-1 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Celtic don't look comfortable when the ball's played in behind the centre-halves. They look like they don't trust the goalkeeper because he's new into the team. They're almost hooking the bouncing ball away rather than using the goalkeeper and playing it out the other side. Rangers have probably spotted that and are playing very direct balls down the side of them

  20. Postpublished at 21mins

    Rangers 1-1 Celtic

Declan John marauds down the Rangers left and jinks his way into the Celtic penalty box.

But the left-back sends his drive well wide from 16 yards.
