    Rangers 1-1 Celtic

Dedryck Boyata was at fault for Rangers' opener and the former Manchester City centre-half is almost caught out again.

He loses control and then fires his clearance against Daniel Candeias and is fortunate that the deflection goes for a goal kick.

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

An incredible story, Rogic. He comes to Celtic and developed himself into a player. He was out for so long and it was actually like a new signing when he came into the team last season. What an influence he's had

  4. 'An absolutely superb finish'published at 12:15 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

The shot actually takes the very slightest of nicks off Bates’ knee, but take nothing away from an absolutely superb finish. We know he’s so dangerous on that left foot – that is a fantastic finish. The game is so end-to-end

  5. Bates replaced with Cardosopublished at 13mins

    Rangers 1-1 Celtic

The goal is a double blow for Rangers. Central defender David Bates picks up an injury from Tom Rogic's follow through and is left clutching an ankle injury.

The young Scot is stretchered off, with Fabio Cardoso his replacement.

    Tom Rogic

It was building into a towsy affair, but it is lifted again by a class finish from Tom Rogic that brings the sides level.

The Australia midfielder shrugs off the challenge of Sean Goss and curls a superb drive into the far corner of the net from 18 yards.

  7. 'Big, big chance for Tierney'published at 12:09 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers 1-0 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Big, big chance for Tierney. Initially, a brilliant penetrating ball between the centre-half and the full-back from Ntcham and I thought Tierney could have clipped it just over the top of the goalkeeper instead of knocking it across goal

  8. Postpublished at 6mins

    Rangers 1-0 Celtic

The game continues apace and Kieran Tierney flashes a cross-come-shot across the face of the Rangers goal.

  9. Postpublished at 6mins

    Rangers 1-0 Celtic

Rangers left-back Declan John is fortunate not to be shown a yellow card after a poor, late challenge on James Forrest.

  10. 'An absolute howler from Boyata'published at 12:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers 1-0 Celtic

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

It’s an absolute howler from Boyata - he’s got to deal with it. Just kick it out the pitch if you have to. But Windass has still got a lot to do, he’s 30-40 yards from goal, he bears down at an angle and then clips it high into the net at the near post. It’s a really, really good finish but terrible mistake from Dedryck Boyata

    Josh Windass

What a start from Rangers and what a nightmare it is for Dedryck Boyata.

The Belgium defender, ring rusty after being sidelined since early February, hesitates as he looks to clear, his attempted flick pass is intercepted by Josh Windass and the English midfielder races into the penalty box before thumping it high past Scott Bain to give the home side the lead.

Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain's debut has started by conceding a goal without having touched the ball.

  14. 'Can Rangers stop Celtic scoring?'published at 11:56 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Quote Message

I think Rangers will score and will cause Celtic problems going forward. They are playing free-flowing football and Josh Windass has been a revelation, making runs in behind defences and scoring goals for fun. But do Rangers have the discipline to stop Celtic from scoring? I don't think they do. I have not been impressed by Bruno Alves at the centre of their defence

  17. Rangers 'should attack right-back area'published at 11:50 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

If you are Rangers, are you not going to attack Celtic's right-back area today? That is definitely a potential weakness for them, so they could try to over-load there. I would imagine James Forrest will have to come back to defend and I am not sure he will enjoy that defensive role

  19. Celtic 'may out-number Rangers in midfield'published at 11:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers v Celtic (12:00)

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

I think Celtic will set up with three at the back and it's case of whether they play a diamond in midfield - with Tom Rogic at the top - or a block of four. They may out-number Rangers in the middle

  20. Rangers 'must impose themselves'published at 11:43 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2018

    Rangers v Celtic (12:00)

    Steven Thompson
Former Rangers & Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Jamie Murphy coming back in makes sense; he has been sensational since he came in. Andy Halliday has done a decent job at left-back in the last couple of weeks, but Declan John is a natural defender and gives you a lot going forward. That left-hand side - with John and Murphy - could be a real threat for Rangers today. They have to impose the style that has brought them success in the last six games on to Celtic from the first whistle and I think Graeme Murty has picked a team to do that
