Butland got his angles right. He knew nothing about it, but stood big and strong and firm. Really important stop.

That faceplant counts as Jack Butland's 124th save of the season - the most in the Premier League this season.

He has also conceded the most goals though.

Ramadan Sobhi plays a lovely first-time ball into the path of Mame Biram Diouf and it's so well placed that he doesn't need to take a touch before shooting.

It's hit with menace but it's straight at Joe Hart.

Joao Mario slips it into Marko Arnautovic as West Ham catch out Stoke's high defensive line but the striker, turning with his back to goal, drags his shot well wide and wastes a good opportunity.

Ryan Shawcross has to run off the pitch and sort out his boots - much to the frustration of the home crowd.

Poor man, he just needed someone to do his laces for him!

Arthur Masuaku plays it inside from the left and Marko Arnautovic lets it roll to Joao Mario. It causes confusion in the Stoke defence but they eventually hack it out for a corner.

Aaron Cresswell then plays a dangerous ball into the box but Arnautovic gives away a free-kick on Ryan Shawcross.

David: Stoke are about as threatening as a bunch of bunny rabbits gambolling about in a meadow. No wonder they are down at the bottom.

Ramadan Sobhi does well to win a free-kick in the middle of the pitch but Xherdan Shaqiri tries to be smart by taking it quickly.

It's cut out though and Mark Arnautovic is one-on-one with Bruno Martins Indi but the Stoke defender does well to knock it out for a throw-in.

It's still pretty even but West Ham are just starting to build pressure and you can see from the heatmaps below (West Ham - left, Stoke - right) there has been more focus in the visiting goal.

No doubt keeping an eye on two potential goalkeepers in his World Cup squad in Joe Hart and Jack Butland, both between the sticks tonight.
