  3. Postpublished at 15 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

Badou Ndiaye does brilliantly on the touchline. He twists, turns and accelerates to beat several West Ham midfielders before earning a free-kick.

It's right in front of the boss too.

  4. 'Moyes would take a point'published at 20:13 British Summer Time 16 April 2018

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 live

I think if you offered David Moyes a point, he would take it. I know it sounds mad, but three points will keep them up and he doesn't want to let Stoke back in and close that gap.

  5. CLOSE!published at 13 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

Erik Pieters walks halfway down the pitch with the ball before taking his throw-in but eventually finds a teammate.

It comes out to Moritz Bauer, who is left unmarked near the far side of the area and he has time to take a touch, set himself and shoot.

It's well hit but straight at Joe Hart.

  6. Postpublished at 11 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

Pablo Zabaleta is enjoying plenty of space down the right-hand side and has been able to test Stoke's defence with a few balls into the box.

This time it's dealt with well by Erik Pieters.

  7. Postpublished at 9 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

Now it's West Ham who are pressing hard and Stoke are forced all the way back to Jack Butland.

  8. 'Arnautovic has been inspirational'published at 20:08 British Summer Time 16 April 2018

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 live

The impact Marko Arnautovic has had at West Ham has been immense since moving from Stoke.

He is the key man. West Ham haven't had a talisman since Dimitri Payet, he's the closest they have come.

He has been inspirational, got goals, assists has a good work ethic.

  9. Postpublished at 7 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

Xherdan Shaqiri thinks he should have a free-kick when he loses the ball on the edge of the West Ham area.

Instead, the hosts play it quickly up field to Mark Arnautovic and the former Stoke man wins a corner off Jack Butland.

  10. Postpublished at 6 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

There's a good intensity to this game so far but it's West Ham who are on the front foot. Stoke are pressing well and are looking for opportunities on the counter-attack.

  11. Postpublished at 3 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

Stoke then counter up the other end and Xherdan Shaqiri does well to create space before offloading it to Ramadan Sobhi.

He feints one way before curling it goalwards but it's a comfortable save for Joe Hart.

  12. Postpublished at 3 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

Pablo Zabaleta fires in a dangerous ball from the right and it comes to Arthur Masuaku on the edge of the area.

He drives at the full-back before his shot is parried by Jack Butland.

  13. 'Moyes has done execeptionally'published at 20:02 British Summer Time 16 April 2018

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 live

I think David Moyes has done an exceptional job. Think of the mess and turbulence at the club, the injury list. He's had to scrap a side together at times but they dug in.

  14. Postpublished at 2 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

It's a volleyball match at the moment with both teams struggling to get the ball down on the ground.

We're underway at the London Stadium. Let the battle commence!

  16. 'Stoke board culpable'published at 19:59 British Summer Time 16 April 2018

West Ham v Stoke (20:00 BST)

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 live

I think there have been huge mistakes from top to bottom. The board are culpable in terms of waiting too long to change managers. The signings have been poor, performances poor.

They’ve made huge mistakes, and Mark Hughes has to be held responsible. But having said that the board should have acted sooner, Stoke waited too long.

Stoke are in a relegation dogfight, some of the players have downed tools and chucked it.

  20. 'A long and troubled campaign'published at 19:52 British Summer Time 16 April 2018

West Ham v Stoke (20:00 BST)

    Steve Wilson
    Match of the Day commentator

"Q: Which current Premier League clubs can boast that they have enjoyed ten consecutive seasons in the top flight?

"A: Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton... and Stoke.

"That decade might be about to come to an end with Stoke six points off safety with only five games to play. There have been some positives in their performances under Paul Lambert - but only one win.

"The game is barely any less crucial for West Ham who have five games remaining after Stoke - but all of them against teams in the top nine. The Hammers will probably just survive - but it's been a long and troubled campaign which will fill nobody which much optimism for the immediate future."
