    Newcastle 0-1 West Brom

    Garth Crooks
BBC Sport football expert on Final Score

Darren Moore has got this West Brom team playing like they think they can stay up, it's been a remarkable upturn in form for them since he took over.

  3. goal

GOAL - Crystal Palace 3-0 Leicesterpublished at 16:39 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Ruben Loftus-Cheek (81 mins)

He's had a good game and now he has a third goal - Ruben Loftus-Cheek rubber stamps this win. It's very much 'on the beach' defending from the visitors though as nobody presses Mamadou Sakho, he slides a pass into the path of RLC, he runs around the keeper and slots home.

    Lovely stuff.

  4. 'Saints can give themselves a chance'published at 16:38 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Southampton 2-1 Bournemouth

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on Final Score

Southampton's performances have been much better under Mark Hughes, and today, Dusan Tadic has scored two wonderful goals, both on the counter attack. If they can just hold on now, they give themselves a real chance of staying up.

Watford still need to go to Spurs and Utd and you'd expect them to lose. If they don't beat Newcastle at home could they still go down?? Stranger things have happened. They're in terrible form in the spring yet again.

    Newcastle 0-1 West Brom

Islam Slimani could be in a spot of bother here. He has a tussle with Craig Dawson at a corner and then, off the ball, he kicks the West Brom man in the back of the legs.

Nothing too powerful behind it but you just can't do that. And he may well be getting a ban in the post.

    Southampton 2-1 Bournemouth

Dusan Tadic has been outstanding today for Southampton.

He plucks the ball out of the air with a deft touch and wins a free-kick to relieve the pressure on the hosts. How Mark Hughes could do with him maintaining his form until the end of the season.

    Burnley 0-0 Brighton

Sean Dyche is waving his arms around on the touchline, as is Chris Hughton. A brief battle of the bosses comes to an end with a Burnley free-kick on half way.

This one's getting tetchy. No closer to a goal, though...

  9. 'Surprised not to see Ward-Prowse'published at 16:35 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Southampton 2-1 Bournemouth

    Efan Ekoku
Former Bournemouth and Nigeria striker on BBC Radio 5 live

I am surprised James Ward-Prowse had not made his way onto the pitch. He likes to recieve the ball, good passer, just to give a bit more control at a time where Bournemouth will through bodies forward.

Uday: Maybe Newcastle should have been in a relegation fight until the end of the season... atrocious play so far today.

  11. goal

GOAL - Huddersfield 0-2 Evertonpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Idrissa Gueye (77 mins)

Ah. Bad news indeed for Huddersfield as Everton double their lead!

A cross comes in from the right, it's touched back by Leighton Baines and Idrissa Gueye rattles a low shot into the bottom corner from 20 yards. Took that really well.

Southampton go close again. First Charlie Austin fires into the side netting, before Mario Lemina dribbles his way into space in the box only to have the ball pinched off his toes.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Burnley 0-0 Brighton

Glenn Murray's first involvement is to clatter into the back of Aaron Lennon. Yellow card for the Brighton substitute.

Shuvam Sinha: Don't understand the issue Everton fans have with Big Sam. Nobody really expected them to challenge the top six and Burnley are having a one-season thing. If eighth isn't good enough for them then I don't know what is.

  17. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Huddersfield 0-1 Everton

Home mascot Terry the Terrier is waving them forward from the corner flag. In comes the latest delivery, cleared.

With Southampton still ahead, Huddersfield are slipping closer to the bottom three. Their final three games are against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal too.

    Oumar Niasse replaces Cenk Tosun.

    Southampton 2-1 Bournemouth

    Southampton are pressing.

Dusan Tadic nonchalantly picks out the run of Ryan Bertrand, who cushions the ball into his path and prods an effort into the arms of Asmir Begovic.

A Newcastle pass goes out of play, groans all round the ground. It's been a very 'end-of-season' display from the hosts.
