If you were wondering if Charlton boss Lee Bowyer had calmed down since his playing days well... Here's your answer

Some big goals at either end of the division in League One.

Bury, who needed a miracle before today to stay up, now need an even bigger one as they trail Northampton 2-1 and Oldham lead Gillingham 1-0.

At the right end of the table Scunthorpe lead at Charlton and first-placed Wigan and second-placed Blackburn are drawing 0-0 with Rotherham and Bristol Rovers respectively.

In League Two, Accrington need one more goal against Exeter to win promotion today. It's 1-1 at the break at the Crown Ground.

At the bottom of the table, Barnet trail 1-0 at Grimsby and Forest Green lead 1-0 at Cheltenham.

If those games finish that way the Bees will be cut seven points adrift of safety.

  2. The half-time Championship headlinespublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    • Burton are 2-1 up against promotion hopefuls Derby and moving off the bottom of the table.
    • Sunderland are 1-0 down at Reading and seven points from safety in the live table.
    • Cardiff are being held 0-0 at Norwich and will remain third unless they find a winner.
    • The match between Middlesbrough and Bristol City is level, with George Friend cancelling out Milan Djuric's opener.

We'll bring you some half-time headlines shortly from across the leagues...

  4. 11 mins of stoppage timepublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Bristol City

Following that horrible injury to Patrick Bamford, we'll have 11 minutes of time added on at the end of the first half.

Right at the very start of that additional period, Stewart Downing has an attempt off the line too. It's all Middlesbrough at the moment...

  5. goal

GOAL: QPR 1-1 Prestonpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Callum Robinson (45 mins)

Into three minutes of added time Callum Robinson gets something on Darnell Fisher's cross and it appears to cross the line.

The officials think so anyway - QPR clear but it's too late and the goal is given.

No goalline technology or VAR here.

Are Derby throwing away a promotion chance for another season?

  7. Postpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Reading 1-0 Sunderland

How many times am I going to mention Sunderland's Callum McManaman?

This time he controls the ball in the box, jinks past a defender and shoots over.

He really should've hit the target.

Big goal in the League One play-off race as Ivan Toney's goal means Scunthorpe move ahead of Charlton and into fifth, as it stands.

Elsewhere, Bury are behind to lowly Northampton after Sam Hoskins made it 2-1 to the Cobblers and there relegation looks like it will be confirmed later this afternoon.

It's very open at the Pirelli Stadium.

    Reading 1-0 Sunderland

Callum McManaman is causing Reading all sort of problems and he has a good penalty appeal turned down.

The Sunderland winger goes between two defenders and goes down, but referee Steve Martin waves it away confidently.

The hosts are very fortunate to be ahead.

  16. Bamford down for Boropublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

A worrying moment here for Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford, who is down receiving treatment after a clash with Aden Flint.

  18. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Reading 1-0 Sunderland

  19. goal

GOAL: Accrington 0-1 Exeterpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Jayden Stockley (21 mins)

Is that the sound of Accrington putting the champagne back on ice?

Victory over Exeter would see Stanley promoted to League One today but they trail to Jayden Stockley's shot.

Elsewhere in League Two, Grimsby lead fellow strugglers Barnet 1-0 thanks to an early goal from Danny Collins.

  20. Bury battling onpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Bury 1-1 Northampton

Bury will almost certainly be relegated to League Two today but they're at least showing some fight.

The Shakers went a goal behind to Ash Taylor's early goal for fellow strugglers Northampton but veteran Peter Clarke has got them level.

Bury must win though to stand any chance of keeping their survival hopes alive.

Elsewhere in League One, Ike Ugbo has given lowly MK Dons the lead against Doncaster.
