    Chesterfield 0-0 Mansfield

Chesterfield really need a positive result today to keep their League Two survival hopes alive.

They're weathering a bit of a Mansfield storm at the moment though as Malvind Benning forces a good save from home keeper Aaron Ramsdale before Alfie Potter fires over the rebound.

Just a late refresher for those who might not have seen the team news for the game at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United welcome back goalkeeper Jamal Blackman after his three-game ban and defender Richard Stearman is back after injury. They replace Simon Moore and Jake Wright respectively.

Millwall make just the one alteration from the team that won 2-0 at Bolton in midweek. Tom Elliott's reward for opening the scoring at the Macron is a return to the bench, as Steve Morison comes back into the starting XI.

The EFL weekend began on Friday night with Aston Villa's 1-0 win over out-of-form Leeds United.

The Villans took all three points thanks to Lewis Grabban's first-half header.

Victory ensures their place in the play-offs and also kept their very, very slim automatic promotion hopes alive.

For Leeds it's now just two wins in their last 20 matches and the season can not end soon enough.

It's very much a case of one looking to go up and one looking to stay up in the two other early games we're keeping across today.

In League Two, Chesterfield are desperately trying to avoid a second successive relegation and demotion out of the Football League when they host local rivals Mansfield at 13:00 BST.

Meanwhile, in the National League Macclesfield could all but secure promotion back to League Two if they beat Leyton Orient.

That game kicked off at 12:30 BST and Danny Whitaker has just put the hosts 1-0 up.

It's been a remarkable 2018 so far for Millwall.

The Lions started the year with a 2-1 defeat at Norwich to leave them just six points above the relegation zone and 13 points adrift of sixth.

However, a superb 16-match unbeaten means they start today's big match at Bramall Lane in sixth place.

Unsurprisingly Lions boss Neil Harris is absolutely relishing his side's surge up the table: "I’m so thoroughly enjoying it at the moment. We’d play every couple of days if we could," he BBC Radio London.

"We are playing above our wildest estimations at the moment. We have had a great run of form and have four massive games coming up against massive clubs at this level."

"I'm wasting my time and energy thinking we're going to get into the top six because to produce a performance like we have with everything at stake is not good enough, and won't be good enough to get in the top six."

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder was quite clear about his side's play-off prospects after their meek 1-0 defeat at Hull City back in February.

However, six weeks on and the mood is far more buoyant at Bramall Lane.

"Both teams have put themselves in fantastic positions. There's a number of clubs who will fancy their chances of getting in the play-offs and we're the same," Wilder told BBC Radio Sheffield.

Victory against in-form Millwall today would see the Blades go level on points with the sixth-placed Lions.

Good afternoon and welcome to live text commentary of Saturday's EFL action.
