Roma are trying to do their best to cool the red hot atmosphere inside Anfield and so far they will be very satisfied. They look composed on the ball and as yet Liverpool have not been able to make much of an impact.

The big quality in this Liverpool side, however, is that their quality in attack means they usually get a chance eventually. Plenty of time for them yet.

Not a good sight for Liverpool fans. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on a stretcher being taken down the tunnel.

Meanwhile, Roma come forward again as Cengiz Ünder gets into the area, Dejan Lovren produces a rather wild swipe to get the ball away and Anfield breathes a collective sigh of relief as they look at the referee. Nothing given.
