  1. CLOSE!published at 16:28 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Crystal Palace 3-2 Brighton

Definite signs of Brighton growing dangerously into this second half. First a counter is snuffed out only by Patrick van Aanholt's electric pace covering back. The ball breaks loose again though and Glenn Murray delays getting a shot away on the edge of the box - a superb block by Mamadou Sakho.

  2. 'No urgency from Huddersfield'published at 16:27 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Watford

    Stephen Warnock
    Ex-Liverpool defender on Final Score

Considering Huddersfield are fighting relegation there has not been that urgency. When they were coming up last season they has a dip in for towards the end of the season.

They play a high pressing game similar to Liverpool and you wonder if it is taking its toll.

    Swansea 0-1 Everton

Swansea too know they need to find their best again to turn their situation around. Carlos Carvalhal paces the sidelines. This has been a world away from some of the energetic home showings we've seen since his arrival.

  5. 'Atmosphere bouncing at Selhurst Park'published at 16:24 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Crystal Palace 3-2 Brighton

    Stephen Warnock
    Ex-Liverpool defender on Final Score

Selhurst Park is one of the toughest places to go away as a played. The atmosphere is bouncing and it is great for Palace players to play in front of that every other week.

Steven Young: Has Neil J Lawrence forgotten 3 teams came up from the Championship? Where's the credit for Newcastle? spent less than both of them.

Tom Devlin: Both Huddersfield and Brighton have spent more than Newcastle after being promoted last season.

Alasdair Collins: Would that be the same as AFC Bournemouth on the cusp of a fourth season in the Premier League?

    Huddersfield 0-0 Watford

Huddersfield - can they raise it now? What a huge opportunity this is to steer themselves even further clear of danger. Time is running out, and they are yet to threaten the Watford goal seriously this half. Half an hour left there.

  9. 'Agonising'published at 16:21 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Crystal Palace 3-2 Brighton

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham manager on BBC Radio 5 live

Murray pulled away brilliantly at the back post. He really stretched and it rolled across the goalline agonisingly. You can sense nerves from Palace. They're giving the ball away and committing a few fouls. They will have to hold it together if they want three points this afternoon.

  10. CHANCE!published at 16:21 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Burnley 2-0 Leicester

He just doesn't have his shooting boots on today, Jamie Vardy. Another decent opening on goal as he is played through in the box, not much time to work with and the shot is rushed - quite easy for Nick Pope to get down to and turn around for a corner.

  11. CLOSE!published at 16:20 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Crystal Palace 3-2 Brighton

Huge chance. Glenn Murray is inches away from finding the far post or its bottom corner, stretching to meet a diagonal pass. Just the toe connects - he did well to reach it at all. Palace breathe a deep sigh of relief.

  12. Postpublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Crystal Palace 3-2 Brighton

Big applause from the home fans as Wayne Hennessey claims a corner with confidence. Small signs Brighton are beginning to have more control of this one at Selhurst Park. Will nerves start to be a factor for Palace as the clock ticks down?

Around half an hour left to play, with the home side moving six points clear of the drop as things stand.

It's fascinating to compare Wilfried Zaha and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. He's got a lazy, loping stride but has fabulous control. Zaha is so quick and mesmerising at times with the ball at his feet. There's a nice balance between the two - Loftus-Cheek less likely to lose the ball but Zaha more likely to create a goal.

  15. 'Burnley are being Burnley'published at 16:14 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Burnley 2-0 Leicester

    Stephen Warnock
    Ex-Liverpool defender on Final Score

Burnley look so comfortable, you would have thought Leicester would have come back into the game by now.

Burnley are being Burnley, sitting there making it hard. The willingness to work for each other is incredible.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Swansea 0-1 Everton

Jordan Ayew goes in the book for a late and wild challenge on Leighton Baines in the middle. He will say he had eyes on the ball only but was he really in control there? Yellow says the ref - another might have said red.

Neil J Lawrence: Would be a great advert for the EPL if Brighton and Huddersfield could stay up - shows Championship teams can achieve sustainable top flight status without spending billions.

  18. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Swansea 0-1 Everton

More frustration for the home side. Andre Ayew swans forward and delays again at the crucial moment - instead of firing a shot he turns back and only finds more trouble, the momentum fades as Everton get a toe on the ball to turn away.

Ashley Barnes races onto a high ball over the top and Harry Maguire cleans him out as he comes across to try and clear.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson delivers the free-kick short and Stephen Ward has a shot deflected out wide for a corner. Waste of a chance to get a cross in there.

  20. 'Palace have missed Loftus-Cheek'published at 16:08 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Crystal Palace 3-2 Brighton

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on Final Score

Chris Hughton will be happy with his team's mentality and determination, but you can't take your eyes of Palace who are in control.

Loftus-Cheek in the middle at 6'3 is just holding off players, he's been a massive miss for Palace.
