    DISASTER!

Arsene Wenger can't believe what he has seen. Laurent Koscielny gets it horribly wrong after a long punt forward and Antoine Griezmann is in on goal.

Shkodran Mustafi tries to make an interception after Griezmann goes past David Ospina but slips and the ball is in the back of the net.

Home fans are trying to suck the ball into the net. There's a huge noise inside the ground and Lacazette is asking more and more questions of Atletico's defence.

The Spaniards are hanging in. Their 10 men will be happy to escape here just one goal down.

Exactly the right way to attack when you've got a numerical advantage.

Jack Wilshere plays a little one-two and he gets wide to the byline and that's how you stretch a team when they're one man down. The cross is stood up perfectly for Alexandre Lacazette to leap up and put his team in front. He hangs in the air and thumps it past Jan Oblak.

Kai: The only time Arsenal have a numerical advantage is when they are defending. Not when they counter, and not when they play slow motion power play.

John: Love how people still under-rate Atletico. One of the best defences in Europe won't be too worried about the likes of Welbeck.

  18. 'Negativity can creep in'published at 21:17 British Summer Time 26 April 2018

    Arsenal 0-0 Atletico Madrid

    Andy Townsend
Ex-Republic of Ireland international on BBC Radio 5 live

Atletico are so well organised that if you step back for a minute, all of a sudden there are eight players behind the ball.

That negativity can start to creep in when you think you should have an advantage but aren't getting anywhere. Arsenal have to stay patient but go for the jugular when they get an opportunity.
