Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, talking to BT Sport: "It has been very busy but I try and keep the priorities right because I live for competitions. I will try and do as well as I can for as long as I am here.

"The fans will be behind the team don’t worry about that, our home form has been very strong.

"I believe that Petr Cech is just back from injury and has not completely recovered. He is available but David Ospina has played the whole competition and has done really well. It is a difficult decision.

"The weight of the away goal is huge. We ideally score without conceding which has not been our strongest point that season. We have to stop them counter-attacking, keep Antoine Griezmann quiet and cope physically with Atletico."

Diego Costa's inclusion in the squad is a welcome bonus for Diego Simeone, but for Arsene Wenger, it may make him shudder just a little bit more than it needed to for this game.

    Andy West

Atletico Madrid's ability to compete on an even footing with Barcelona and Real Madrid over the last few years has been admirable, and Diego Simeone's men are on track to hold off city rivals Real and claim a second-place finish in La Liga this season.

But Los Rojiblancos have not won any silverware since the Spanish Super Cup in August 2014, and the ultra-competitive Simeone - whose future at the club currently seems secure despite regular bouts of speculation - is desperate for his troops to end a frustrating sequence of near-misses by lifting the Europa League trophy.

So watch out Arsene Wenger… Atletico are determined to spoil your leaving party.

Marseille v RB Salzburg (20:05 BST)

There's smattering of former Premier League talent within the Marseille ranks this evening. Florian Thauvin perhaps didn't take to life at Newcastle but he's been electric in the South of France this term with 21 goals.

Konstantinos Mitroglou - remember him Fulham fans? - also starts as does a certain Dimitri Payet once of West Ham.

The big issue for Marseille boss Rudi Garcia is that Portuguese defender Rolando hasn't quite fully recovered from an Achilles problem so takes a place on the bench with Luiz Gustavo dropping into the back four instead of occupying his preferred midfield berth.

Marseille XI: Pele, Sarr, Rami, Luiz Gustavo, Amavi, Sanson, Lopez, Thauvin, Payet, Ocampos, Mitroglou

Subs: Rolando, Bedimo, Njie, Sertic, Germain, Zambo Anguissa, Escales

As far as the visitor's are concerned there's one small tweak made by boss Marco Rose with 19-year-old Austrian youth international Hannes Wolf starting in midfield - ahead of Xaver Schlager - alongside Diadie Samassekou who returns from suspension.

RB Salzburg XI: Walke, Lainer, Andre Ramalho, Caleta-Car, Ulmer, Haidara, Samassekou, Wolf, Berisha, Dabbur, Hwang

Subs: Stankovic,Onguene, Yabo, Minamino, Gulbrandsen, Pongracic, Schlager

Marseille v RB Salzburg (20:05 BST)

Will RB Salzburg go all the way to the final?

The winners of Arsenal against Atletico Madrid tie will face Marseille or the runaway Austrian league leaders in the final on 16 May.

Salzburg have enjoyed a tournament to savour, knocking out Lazio at the quarter-final stage and beating Marseille during the pool phase.

Marseille warmed up for the Salzburg encounter by keeping alive their Champions League qualification hopes with a 5-1 Ligue 1 victory over Lille, although they are now without Japan international Hiroki Sakai, who suffered a knee injury in that game.

Ex-Republic of Ireland international on BBC Radio 5 live

If Arsenal want to be above Manchester City in the next few seasons, eight of the starting XI tonight have to go. I'd keep Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but there's a lot of boys in that team that aren't good enough. If they want to be top of the Premier League, Arsenal have to spend a lot of money.

    Julien Laurens
BBC Radio 5 live's Euro Leagues Football Show

I think Arsenal can definitely do it. Atletico were not that good at the weekend against Real Betis, drawing 0-0, or against Sporting Lisbon in the last round. The second leg, they lost 1-0 but it could have been 3-0. They were so bad.

Whether they have Diego Costa fit or not is a huge factor. Antoine Griezmann is not the same player when he’s not there.

Winning the Europa League would be an amazing farewell for Arsene Wenger. It would be a fairytale but football is no fairytale.

    George Cummins
BBC Radio 5 live at Emirates Stadium

Welcome to Emirates Stadium for Arsene Wenger’s last home game as manager of Arsenal in Europe.

Back in 1988 Wenger made his debut as a manager in a European competition, taking Monaco to the quarter-finals of the European Cup. Almost 30 years on, can he finally lift a European trophy with Arsenal?

During his spell at Arsenal he lost the Uefa Cup in 2000 to Galatasaray on penalties and famously lost the 2006 Champions League final to Barcelona 2-1 after leading with 10 men for much of the match.

If Arsenal had replicated their Europa League form on the Premier League stage they would have sealed a place in next season's Champions League by now.

Defeats away to the likes of Stoke City, Watford, Swansea City, Bournemouth, Brighton and Newcastle leave them sixth in the table - 33 points behind champions Manchester City.

Remember, the winners of the Europa League join Europe's elite in the group stage of the 2018-19 Champions League.

Atletico Madrid have reached two Champions League finals in recent years. They will go into this tie as favourites but Arsenal's focus now is solely on winning this competition and sending Arsene Wenger out with the trophy and on a high which would return them to the Champions League. I wouldn't write them off.

Atletico Madrid are not hanging about and have named their line-up nice and early.

Diego Costa and Fernando Torres are both on the bench. It's a strong Atletico side.
