It was a ferocious start and Arsenal looked really good. They created some good opportunities but they didn't take them. All of a sudden, Atletico weathered the storm and then showed their European credentials and played really well.

That initial spell was excellent but Arsenal have thrown everything at Atletico and haven't scored. There's no need to panic, but they have got to come up with the answers now.

Atletico have played well in the last 15 minutes and they have looked the more likely to score. If Arsenal had scored with all that pressure they could have forced the visitors to panic.

Ten-man Atletico make it to half-time without conceding. Arsenal need a goal. Enjoyable match.

Allan: To stand a chance of getting to the final, Arsenal have got to score a couple of goals and not concede with their one-man advantage. The away leg is a big ask for a team with a poor away record in the Premier League.

Harish: Despite having to play against 10 men, Arsenal don't seem like scoring. This might be Atletico's semi-final to win despite red cards, Simeone in the stands and an ageing defence.

Every time an Atletico player goes down, the rest of them are going to get around the referee and try to influence him. They are going to be waving the imaginary cards but the referee just needs to get on with the game.

Where did that come from?

A HUGE chance for 10-man Atletico but Antoine Griezmann fires straight at David Ospina after a wonderful driving run by Thomas Partey who skips past one challenge, then another, before passing to his team-mate.

How costly will that missed chance prove?

Atletico get their first shot away. Antoine Griezmann lets fly from outside the area. It's low and it's on target but David Ospina has it covered.

A word of advice to anyone sitting close to Diego Simeone and thinking of asking him for his autograph. DON'T DO IT! He looks like he's itching for a fight!
