Utter chaos in the Marseille defence who fail to deal with a routine delivery into their penalty area.

The ball eventually falls to Salzburg midfielder Xaver Schlager but his shot looked to be heading well wide until it crucially diverted into the net off the Marseille right-back Bouna Sarr.

Shortly before that chance for Aaron Ramsey, Diego Godin was booked for a cynical foul on Danny Welbeck which stopped a Gunners attack.

    RB Salzburg 0-0 Marseille

  19. Postpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 3 May 2018

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Arsenal

    An Arsenal goal changes everything.

They came to Madrid needing an away goal and nothing has changed. The trouble is they only have 45 minutes to find one and they've yet to create a serious opening.

They've been punished by a defensive lapse and they've also lost Laurent Koscielny to a serious injury.

Is this the night their Champions League hopes vanish for good?

David: Bellerin switched off and got beat, plain and simple. Need a miracle now.

Jack: Does this change anything? Arsenal always had to score, this just means ET rather than a win if they score one

Ash: There we go. Atletico show Arsenal how to be clinical.
