It's the final ball from Arsenal that is lacking. At the other end Chambers threw his body on the line and it was a crucial block on Griezmann.

Antoine Griezmann surely must score. It's blocked and the ball loops into the air for David Ospina to gather. Diego Costa put in some hard yards to create that chance. Arsenal are still alive.

Atletico are swarming all over Arsenal but what about that run by Diego Costa. Brute force got him into the penalty box. The visitors have to just hang on in there and not concede another goal.

It's now or never for the Gunners.

Arsenal are much more adventurous and there's a real urgency about them.

It just wouldn't drop for Aaron Ramsey. It was a sliced volley initially by Wilshere and Ramsey read it perfectly but the ball wouldn't sit, and he has ended up thighing it wide from six yards.

Atletico fans are in full voice as Koke flashes another chance wide of the post.

Arsenal repond with an attack of their own but Aaron Ramsey cannot get his shot cleanly away, the ball bobbling off his thigh at close range.

That's a big chance and Arsenal haven't taken it.

Atletico Madrid are seriously pumped up at the start of this second-half. They have got the high press on Arsenal and the visitors have to respond.

Atletico have a spring in their step. They've come storming out of the blocks and win another corner. Diego Costa is hungry for another goal and tests David Ospina with a header.

Laurent Koscielny has torn his Achilles, BT Sport are reporting. That's truly awful news. More news when we get it.

No shots on target by Arsenal in the first half.

That has got to change in the next 45 minutes otherwise they are going out of Europe.
