There was a delay of several minutes while medics attended to Laurent Koscielny.

We've been back under way about five minutes but other than that chance for Diego Costa shortly before the injury, there's been little threat on the Gunners goal.

    RB Salzburg 0-0 Marseille

It looks like an absolute cauldron inside the Red Bull Arena. The atmosphere was bubbling nicely outside the ground and there's still quite a bit of smoke from flares floating around the ground.

As if to dampen that fervour, Marseille opened up with a spell of keep ball in the corner.

It's a big worry for Arsenal and they are going to have to make a change. Koscielny has been Arsenal's best defender over the years and what a huge task Calum Chambers has. He is going to have to play out of his skin.

Andrew: If ever a big game performance was needed from Mesut Ozil, it is tonight. Arsene Wenger has defended him from endless criticism of going missing when he is needed the most by his team. It’s now time he repaid that faith when his manager needs it.

Diego Costa loves playing against Arsenal. During his time in England he roughed the Arsenal back-line up and that's why he is starting. It was a no-brainer getting him in the team.

This game for Arsenal is all about how they defend. I think they will create chances going forward because they have talent in attack, but it's at the back where you worry. Atletico scored last week when they weren't even trying to score.

Atletico are the toughest test remaining in the competition. You only have to look at their defensive record at home. This is a battle-hardened team. If Arsenal manage to get through they will be favourites in the final.

You can almost hear the sound of home teams rubbing their hands with glee when Arsenal come to visit in the Premier League.

After all, the Gunners have yet to pick up a point on their travels in 2018.

It's a different story in Europe.

They've won away at AC Milan and Ostersunds while they have also managed a 2-2 draw at CSKA Moscow. A repeat of that scoreline tonight will do the Gunners nicely!

  20. Another miracle in Madrid?published at 19:48 British Summer Time 3 May 2018

Atletico Madrid v Arsenal (20:05 BST)

    George Cummins
BBC Radio 5 live in Madrid

Back in 2014 Arsene Wenger listed his 10 favourite games as Arsenal manager.

One of them was here in Madrid but down the road at the Bernabeu.

An understrength Arsenal, featuring a back four of Eboue, Toure, Senderos and Flamini managed to keep out Zidane, Beckham, Guti, Robinho and Ronaldo.

They stunned Real Madrid and a Thierry Henry goal saw them leave with a 1-0 win.

Twelve years on can Arsenal do it again against Atletico and pull off the miracle in Madrid to give Wenger the send off he deserves.
