That is either a dislocation or a fracture. Ashley Barnes is made of tough stuff. Big blow for Burnley.

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Both teams not having enough efforts on target. Chelsea looking comfortable with several passes but not enough action in either penalty area.

Liverpool still on top at Stamford Bridge as Sadio Mane, off balance, slashes over the bar as he tries to turn Mohamed Salah's cross in on goal.

Fred: Where was Arsenal's desire in Madrid?

Daniel Cheng: Maybe Aubameyang and Lacazette CAN play together after all...

Granit Xhaka is going to take a moment on the sidelines after getting a whack on the ribs in a collision with Ashley Barnes.

The Burnley striker might be a more permanent absence from the match.

He is heading off with his arm in a makeshift sling,

That looks real painful. On comes Sam Vokes.

Deldude: Bakayoko is a mess. He can't defend, he can't attack and now he stands in the way of Giroud’s shot which could have resulted in a goal.

Steve: Starting Bakayoko is a bad call, but I'd take Giroud over Morata any day.

    Chelsea 0-0 Liverpool

Tiemoue Bakayoko won't want to see that one back again.

The Chelsea midfielder swipes thin air as the ball is pulled back to him on the edge of the box.

His critics are already clipping it up for a social-media savaging.

  9. 'Really impressed with Aubameyang'published at 16:46 British Summer Time 6 May 2018

    Arsenal 1-0 Burnley

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC Radio 5 live

If he only wasn't cup tied in Europe. It is a cross from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang just gambles and it is a comfortable finish. I am really impressed with Aubameyang at the start of the match.

And a very 'Arsene' goal to get the farewell kickstarted.

Alex Iwobi clips a little pass into the feet of Alexandre Lacazette, who fires a cross across the face of the goal.

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang is sliding in at the far post to turn it in.

That was the sort of fox-in-the-box stylings that Wenger could have done with at times in his Arsenal reign.

Pascal Van Der Kamp: Ozil out again “sick.” He’s an absolute disgrace to the club. Somehow he is always off after a European game or disappointment. He’ll never be an Arsenal legend, and unless his attitude changes, I hope that’s his last game at the club.

Ashwin Kumar: Arsenal fans deserve more, there is no doubt. But some of the abuse that Wenger was getting from Arsenal fans was devastating. When my boss Sir Alex left I felt something is lost. Hope Arsenal fans feels the same and give Wenger. An unforgettable farewell.

Gerry Moore: What is it with Ozil, so many games missed "ill" or with slight injuries?

Steve: Arsenal fans have got there wish and Wenger has essentially been sacked. This big send off feels very backhanded.

Alex: Why does Conte keep playing 3-5-2. We play awful football with it and rarely win. So much attacking potential in this team but Conte suffocates it. So frustrating to watch!

  15. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Liverpool

    Roberto Martinez look away now.

James Milner clatters into Belgium's main man Eden Hazard with a full-pelt sliding tackle, getting a bit of the ball but a rate that the referee judges to be reckless.

Hazard limps to the sidelines with a wince to get treatment.

Chelsea with a free-kick, no card.

Alex Iwobi's tame shot is gathered casually by Nick Pope in the Burnley goal as it bobbles towards him.

Harish Lakka: Bakayoko over Willian. Giroud over Morata. Conte has fans anxious before the game have even begun.

Ibrahim Keshk: Are Chelsea really playing three at the back? Did they not watch what happened when Roma did that? Maybe there is a method behind the madness. Let's go Reds!

Paul Cunningham: Chelsea setting up defensively against Liverpool and keeping Willian on the bench, a recipe for disaster.

  19. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

Arsenal are monopolising possession, probing for any breach in the Burnley defence.

A floated pass to the over-lapping Saed Kolasinac just drifts out of play though.
