That is absolutely ridiculous not to give a penalty. Mo Salah has gone down easily once or twice recently but there is no suggestion of that here. If you need a definition of a penalty kick, that is it. 100% a penalty.

Plenty to get the Liverpool fans on their feet now. They're fuming with referee Kevin Friend. The home supporters reckon Brighton defender Shane Duffy should have been punished and their side given a penalty - on two separate occasions.

Duffy gets away with what Liverpool think is a handball and then he slides in on Mo Salah, who goes tumbling.

Seconds later Sadio Mane shoots straight at Mat Ryan when clean through. He should have squared it to Roberto Firmino...

Watford have had to make an early change after defender Christian Kabasele had a nasty collision with the advertising boards. They are like big TVs now. Solid as a rock. Club stalwart Adrian Mariappa is on in his place.

Save! Ben Foster has been arguably the form keeper in the league in the last few weeks and there's another one. Wilfried Zaha will feel that he should have done more though, shooting at the former England man's shins.

Swansea are keen to do their part of the bargain, they could easily be 3-0 up already! Wayne Routledge is freed down the left-hand side, he cuts in and bends a little curler just wide...

Liverpool have utterly dominated this game so far. The two full-backs are playing as wingers and it's difficult for Brighton to get hold of the ball. They've hardly had a touch, never mind got out of their own half.

There may be a flutter of nerves from the most pessimistic of Saints fan after that early goal from Swansea, but there's still little need to panic. Manchester City are on top as you'd expect but no real chances of late.

Steve: I reckon Premier League refs are having a competition this season to see who can turn down the most blatant Liverpool penalty. Lots of refs giving it a try this season!

Who says the south of England always has better weather than the north? Forearms are being exposed to UV in Liverpool, Huddersfield and Newcastle - not so much in Wembley and Stratford.

Oof! Newcastle almost grab the opener.

Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey gets a ball from around 25 yards out then thunders a strike goalwards which Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has to push away.

Then Mohamed Diame has a pop from the left edge of the box which is sneaking in at the front post, but again the Belgium goalkeeper is equal to it.

Here's a man who will not be playing in the Championship next season - Xherdan Shaqiri slams in a rising drive from a good 25 yards but it's a comfortable enough grab for the Swans keeper.

Arsene Wenger's day almost got off to the worst possible start - Huddersfield should have scored. Alex Pritchard scampers clear down the right, pulls back to an off-balance Tom Ince... he skies into Row Z.

Close at the other end now as Pole Grzegorz Krychowiak slams a shot just wide on the volley. Decent effort.
