  1. 'Concentration key'published at 16:42 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

    Efan Ekoku
Former Nigeria striker on BBC Radio 5 live

These games, with two evenly matched sides close to each other in the group, are very much an exercise in concentration because you know any error can be the difference between you winning and losing the match.

  2. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

John Obi Mikel sends a long pass over the top for Ahmed Musa to chase.

The Foxes striker is quick but Hannes Halldorsson gets in front and draws the foul.

  3. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

Birkir Bjarnason gets the ball down in the Nigeria area but his ball back across goal is nowhere near another blue shirt.

  4. 'Lacking quality in the final third'published at 16:40 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

    Martin Keown
    Former England defender in Russia

Both teams are just lacking that bit of quality in the final third. There are a lot of balls going in each box - but no-one is really finding their team-mates.

  5. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

Victor Moses surges forward, Iceland defenders clipping at his heels. The Chelsea man is clipped but keeps his feet and works it to a team-mate.

The ball is swung in but it's too deep and Iceland keeper Hannes Halldorsson can easily catch and clear.

I might be miserable but I quite like watching a good 0-0 game. It's all this World Cup is missing!

  7. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

Kelechi Iheanacho swings it in low but can't beat the first man and it's headed out for a throw.

Ahmed Musa trots over to take the throw. What is it with Nigeria making their strikers take set-pieces and throws around the box?

    Nothing doing and Iceland clear.

  8. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

Nigeria are playing plenty of long diagonal balls into the channel too.

The latest is played into Victor Moses' path and the Chelsea wing-back is felled from behind by Magnusson.

Free-kick in a good position for Nigeria...

  9. Postpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

    Martin Keown
    Former England defender in Russia

As soon as Iceland put the ball in the Nigeria box they cause all sorts of problem. That's definitely where they're most threatening.

I can rarely remember so many long throws and diagonal balls into the opposition area.

  10. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

Iceland swing in a wicked cross but Leon Balogun gets a decisive touch on it to take it away from two onrushing blue shirts.

The subsequent long throw is repelled.

That was a good chance for Iceland but Nigeria's defenders have got a head to almost everything so far.

  11. 'Super Eagles frustrated'published at 16:35 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

    Efan Ekoku
Former Bournemouth and Nigeria striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Nigeria will be frustrated so far, they're not seeing enough of ball in the final third.

They need to push that back three a bit further up the pitch - Iceland don't have many quick players.

  12. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

Aron Gunnarsson is off long-throw duties for the moment.

Birkir Saevarsson gets it down and swerves towards the area before going down under pressure

Appeal from the Iceland fans but that was outside the area and Saevarsson himself wasn't too fussed.

Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr makes the universal symbol to suggest the Iceland right-back dived.

  14. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

Kelechi Iheanacho wins a free-kick inside the Iceland half, dead centre but a fair distance out.

Oghenekaro Etebo runs up to take it and belts it way over the Nigeria players in the area. A waste.

  15. Postpublished at 29 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

Iceland hassle and harry and cause an error to win the ball in the Nigeria half before moving it right.

But they decide against an early ball in towards Alfred Finnbogason and the chance is gone.

  16. 'Uzoho is incredibly young'published at 16:29 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

    Martin Keown
    Former England defender in Russia

Francis Uzoho is incredibly young to be playing as a goalkeeper at the World Cup - just 19 years of age. Iceland will have looked at how they can exploit his inexperience - but he's looked pretty assured so far.

Just realised that by saying "go on my son" when applauding an Icelandic attack you could be referring to any one on the team...

    Paul Stevenson, Nottinghamshire

That is unless reserve keeper Frederik Schram comes on.

  18. Postpublished at 25 mins

Ahmed Musa blitzes past Kari Arnason to win a ball played down the left channel.

  19. 'Iceland dominating'published at 16:24 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

    Efan Ekoku
Former Nigeria striker on BBC Radio 5 live

It's a good test for Nigeria at the moment, Iceland are dominating proceedings.

Nigeria have so far been able to repel the attacks and that'll give the back three confidence going forward.

  20. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Nigeria 0-0 Iceland

Kenneth Omeruo rises with Rurik Gislason and climbs over the back of the Iceland man to commit the free-kick.

It's deep, near the halfway line but Iceland will look to swing it in the box.

Gylfi Sigurdsson plays it in there but Omeruo rises to win the header and clear.
