However, that win against Bosnia and Herzegovina is Nigeria's sole win in their last 13 World Cup games.
And they are currently on a World Cup losing streak of three games, their worst run since losing four matches between 1998 and 2002.

Nigeria v Iceland (16:00 BST)
Since making their World Cup debut in 1994, 14 of the 27 goals Nigeria have conceded have come from a set-piece (52%), the worst percentage of any nation during that period.
Conversely, organisation is very much Iceland's strength. Expertly drilled and rigidly disciplined, they frustrated Argentina in their opening game draw.
Worryingly for Nigeria, Iceland also looked threatening with a direct, long-ball game that could cause a discombobulated defence no end of trouble.

It's a game both teams will probably need to win to make the last 16, and Nigeria definitely can't afford to lose it after opening with a defeat.
We know what Iceland's usual approach is - they are disciplined and defensive - but they might be tempted to open up a bit and go for the win that could be enough to send them through. It will also be interesting to see how Nigeria try to break them down.
Prediction: 1-1

So yeah, anyway, Argentina are still in dire trouble in this group and Iceland can put them further in the mire in Volgograd.
If Iceland win today, Argentina would need to beat Nigeria, rely on Iceland losing to Croatia and then also have a better goal difference than Iceland.

What a brilliantly intriguing match this could be.
Both sides really need a win to make the last 16. A draw could well let Argentina back in despite their dismal 3-0 defeat by Croatia last night.
A first World Cup win for Iceland would make them heavy favourites to advance along with Croatia.
Or can Nigeria set up a massive final game against Argentina?
Here we go...
