Mousa Dembele hit the jackpot in December 2017 after discovering there was £1m worth of treasure – including 18th Century porcelain, glass, pottery and tableware – in the cellar of a hotel he had purchased in Antwerp.

    Which was nice.

    Lukaku doubles Belgium's lead

When I look at what Romelu Lukaku is doing at this World Cup, I am so proud.

Romelu is a player and person I have a special relationship with. I have known him for seven years, since he first came to Chelsea at the age of 18 in 2011, and we are really close.

He is more than my very good friend, he is a kid I love and he is like my younger brother - someone I have always tried to help.

I know things have not always been easy for him but the reason he is doing so well in Russia is down to the character he has shown throughout his career and the hard work he has put in to get here.

Willian was poor in some of the group games but he was undoubtedly on his game earlier. He made the opener with some great play.

Here come the Japanese side out for their final warm-ups, as the few fans in their seats this early unfurl a large banner behind the goal.

Japan need skipper Makoto Hasebe of Eintracht Frankfurt to step up and have a good game tonight.

Japan’s evergreen skipper remains pivotal for club & country even if injuries have limited his involvement in the last two years. This is his third World Cup as captain (he was the on-field skipper in 2010, with a back-up keeper the official team leader).

He broke the record for most games as Japan’s captain in 2015 and has worn the armband over 70 times. After the dismissal of Valid Halilhodzic in April, Hasebe said: “I feel responsible as a player…. I had the most responsibility because he trusted me with the position of captain.”

When Belgium have played their strongest side they have not struggled to create chances but, even then, they have not looked like the cohesive unit they will need to be to go far in this tournament.

Roberto Martinez's side will win this tie, though, because I don't think Japan will be able to cope with their attacking power.

    Prediction: 2-0

INNNNNN ONE - That's a compact television set

Belgium forward Dries Mertens says he wants to "score a lot of goals" at the World Cup - to help his friends get free televisions.

Electronics company Krefel has offered Belgian customers a full refund on a newly bought TV if Roberto Martinez's side score 16 times in Russia.

Belgium were top scorers in the group stage with nine, one of which was scored by Napoli's Mertens.

"My friends bought a television, so I am thinking about that," he said.

"With the qualities of Romelu [Lukaku] and Eden [Hazard], we can create a great deal of danger.

"We are doing really well. We like to score a lot of goals."

Situated on the southern bank of the Don River, the stadium is planned as the start of a new city centre, with the rest of the city lying north.

FC Rostov, the 2014 Russian Cup winners, will play its home games at the stadium following World Cup, with the capacity reduced to 25,000.

Belgium are back to full strength after naming a weakened team in the win over England - 10 changes in total.

Vincent Kompany starts at centre-back alongside Jan Vertonghen - not Thomas Vermaelen as Belgium originally tweeted!

Premier League stars Romelu Lukaku, Eden Hazard, Kevin de Bruyne and Toby Alderweireld all come back into the team - while Thibaut Courtois starts again. Napoli's Dries Mertens, PSG's Thomas Meunier and Chinese-based duo Axel Witsel and Yannick Carrasco also start.

Japan are also back to their A team, making six changes from the side who lost to Poland but still qualified.

Attacking midfielders Shinji Kagawa, Takashi Inui, Genki Haraguchi and striker Yuya Osako all return, while captain Makoto Hasebe and defender Gen Shoji are back. Shinji Ozakazi, who had an ankle problem, is among the players to drop out.
