  1. goal

GOAL - Colombia 1-1 Englandpublished at 90+3 mins

    Yerry Mina

    Wouldn't you know it!

David Ospina is up for the corner, chaos in the box and the massive Yerry Mina towers over everyone to head down, the bounce takes it in and Kieran Trippier can't keep it out.

His third goal of the tournament!

    Extra-time beckons!

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 90+2 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

David Ospina lumps a free-kick downfield - WHAT A SAVE!

Jordan Pickford with one for the ages to push away a stinger from Mateus Uribe! Where did that come from?

  3. 'Thoroughly deserved victory'published at 20:54 British Summer Time 3 July 2018

    Colombia 0-1 England

    Danny Murphy
    Former England midfielder

We have thoroughly deserved the victory. We have not created a lot of chances, but we have not had to go into fifth or sixth gear.

  4. Postpublished at 90+2 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Jordan Henderson goes down with a knock. Someone throws a plastic cup towards him. Stays out of it, gets up gingerly.

  5. INJURY TIMEpublished at 90 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

FIVE MINUTES added on. That's generous for England I would say. I was expecting at least seven.

  7. Postpublished at 89 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Nervous? We're going to have some SAF levels of added time to come. It took four minutes to take the penalty!

  8. 'Colombia deserve nothing'published at 20:49 British Summer Time 3 July 2018

    Colombia 0-1 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Colombia have improved slightly since making the changes but they don't deserve anything from the way they have behaved in this game.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 88 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Just the man for a pressure cooker street fight with some South Americans - here's Jamie Vardy. On for Raheem Sterling.

    One ball over the top...

    Colombia 0-1 England

Radamel Falcao works the space for a shot, 20-odd yards, but it's tame and easy for Jordan Pickford to pocket.

  12. Postpublished at 86 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Eric Dier gives it away, poor six-yard ball. I'm tempted to say 'one job'...

    Colombia 0-1 England

Cross comes in, headed through the penalty area and away. England have to soak up a few minutes of pressure now.

More scuffling in the penalty area, Jordan Henderson escorted away from any potential trouble...

  15. 'Score does not do England justice'published at 20:46 British Summer Time 3 July 2018

    Colombia 0-1 England

    Danny Murphy
    Former England midfielder

The 1-0 scoreline does not do the performance any justice. We have not been in any trouble, apart from that one mistake by Kyle Walker.

  16. Postpublished at 84 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Harry Maguire wins a header again - I'm sure he's not this dominant back home is he? - but it's over the top. England nearly there.

But tell that to Japan, Costa Rica, Tunisia, I could go on.

  17. 'Sloppy Walker'published at 20:45 British Summer Time 3 July 2018

    Colombia 0-1 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Kyle Walker can be sloppy in possession and he just hesitated, which gave Colombia a chance. Juan Cuadrado should at least hit the target and he should've made England pay.

  18. Postpublished at 82 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Harry Kane's penalty is the only shot on target so far in the second half from either side.

  19. HUGE LET OFF!published at 81 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Goodness me what a chance! Kyle Walker is on the halfway line and loses the ball as he looks to play a backpass, Colombia are two on two, they find Juan Cuadrado on the overlap and he should at least hit the target - he should score really - but he blazes it over!

Harry Maguire did really well to close the angle. One son of Sheffield bailing out another...

  20. 'Dier to plug the gap'published at 20:43 British Summer Time 3 July 2018

    Colombia 0-1 England

    Terry Butcher
Ex-England captain on BBC Radio 5 live

Jordan Henderson is just being outnumbered in the middle of the park so I think Eric Dier will help plug that midfield and just make sure we don't get overrun in the middle of the park. Good substitution by Gareth Southgate.
