    Colombia 0-1 England

A bit of football breaks out, started by Ashley Young down the right. Kieran Trippier then goes down and this time the ref tells him to play on.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 69 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Jesse Lingard is now booked. That's seven in the game. This could be the scrappiest final 20 minutes in World Cup history.

  3. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

To finish first, first you have to finish, as they say. Keep calm and carry on is basically the national motto of England.

Ashley Young is now down after being caught by Santiago Arias, not much in that though.

  4. 'England have to carry on playing football'published at 20:28 British Summer Time 3 July 2018

    Colombia 0-1 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

I feel sorry for the referee because the way the Colombia players are reacting to challenges and decisions is a disgrace. England have just got to keep their calm and keep playing their football.

    Danny Murphy
    Former England midfielder

I can't condone what some of these Colombia players are doing to cheat to try and win a football match.

  6. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Let's have it right, England have been accused of being 'naive' in previous tournaments but Jordan Henderson and Harry Maguie have both gone down far too easily in this game. Right?

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 64 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Carlos Bacca is now booked for a foul on John Stones. Dele Alli fouls someone. This is a nightmare for the ref. Someone is going to get sent off.

Are Colombia playing Panama any time soon?! It'll be called off before half time.

  8. 'Lucky Maguire'published at 20:26 British Summer Time 3 July 2018

    Colombia 0-1 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Harry Maguire is lucky he didn't pick up a yellow card there because that was a dive by the defender.

Disgraceful refereeing. Over three minutes to take a penalty. Sort it out Fifa!

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 63 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Colombia are livid again, swarming the referee and Radamel Falcao is booked.

Ah, that's why. A clear dive from Harry Maguire in the area. Should have been booked himself.

  11. CLOSE!published at 62 mins

    Colombia 0-1 England

Harry Kane has scored in every game he has started as captain. That's insane really.

England now have a free-kick. Long way to go in this one. Although at this rate only about four of the remaining 28 minutes will have the ball in play.

Harry Maguire wins a header, the cross comes back in and Dele Alli heads over the top! Good chance!

Marc: And we thought Panama's behaviour was poor...

Sarah: Need to stay calm. C'mon England

Kate: Headbutt. Barge. Fight. Argue. Concede a goal. Dive. Dive. Dive.

Three minutes and 31 seconds between that penalty being awarded and hitting the net. Ludicrous. The referee isn't meant to call an AGM.

    Colombia send on Carlos Bacca.

    Colombia 0-1 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

I don't think the referee is having a good game but he got that decision right. David Ospina has dived early and Harry Kane has placed it straight down the middle. England deserve it but the referee is spoiling the game.

Someone is going here. This has got red card written all over it. John Stones gives away a foul on Radamel Falcao and makes contact with his face as he steps over him. Falcao makes a meal of it...
